@@justind5098 He just wanna attack, maybe with F-Tilt. Bayonetta came out after a little bounce from the king, so the buffered attack was an aerial one (N-air in this case) instead of a grounded one.

I have a few friends that dread when I select the Prince Koopa, but refuse to take up the mantle of Koopaling to even get a glimpse into the marvelous journey of learning Bowser Jr. Bowser Jr.'s UpB is a high risk, high reward kill move, it's pretty easy to DI out of the first stage and typically you can still DI after being hit with the hammer unless you get hit by the sweet spot of the hammer towards the blast zone.

6:30 how I saw it, was when bayo got out, DDD was slightly in the air so n-air comes out really fast so he must’ve used that.

In unexpected moment videos, you tend to expect what you normally wouldn't expect.

Does shield art give you less hitstun? He got out of that combo and punished instantly.

Jeffrey Sherman lmao this isn’t smash 4. Shield art lasts for 6 seconds and has a CD of 18 seconds meaning you can’t just use it randomly. In smash 4 that was its main purpose but because of the shorter length it’s now used to break out of combos. So what he did was right when luigi dthrowed him he immediately switched to sheild art to reduce hitstun, damage, kb etc. and then after the down air since the hitstun was so low he had enough time to switch to smash art and input up b. Also since you seem new to smash I should also tell you that you can change arts in hitstun

Random Person it’s super ez to beat him if you learn to read his list and don’t let him charge his moves or active them. Never try to go off stage against hero because of his up b that can kill you for trying. Make him waste mp and he becomes little Mac off stage.
