To be honest with a rematch it's kind of irrelevant who wins the first one whoever wins the second is probably the end of the line for one of them.. The worrying issue is how soon is the planned rematch and how much nonsense and delays will we have to go through again. Personally Usyks plan can only be the typical smaller fighter tactic, survive early rounds and big hits and get a win by landing punches to get a points win. Zhang v Parker is prime example..

Gareth A. Davies is a sublime, erudite and eloquent critic. His reading of Greek classics and 18th century poetry lends an air of sophistication to his boxing discourse. Despite being a fool to many a commoner, his charmed enthusiasm to persist in culturation of the riff raff speaks volumes to his integrity and canonical knowledge. Gentleman, and Ladies, it is only by really listening to Gareth A. Davies that I have been able to write such a prose, with such linguistic skill, in honour of his educative values and high culture. Mark his words, for they will echo whispers through eternity.

Usyk is way too mobile for Fury. If Usyk keeps turning Fury all night we will see an embarassing shut out win for Usyk. If Usyk suddenly forgets how to box and allows Fury to 'jab and grab' and lean all over Usyk all night then fury can win but I just can't see Usyk falling for any of Furys old feints and tricks. Fury is a shot fighter, no matter how much weight he loses it won't change how poor he is now. the legs have gone and his punch resistance is very low now. I think Usyk will quite happily box his way to a points win and show the gulf it skill. People will be shocked how slow Fury looks compared to Usyk.

Very balanced and considered analysis from George as always. He'll be a great commentator. On Wilder vs Zhang, yes I'd have to go with Zhang; apart from his other assets, he is the more clever fighter IMO, but he will have to get Wilder out of there early because if he tires in the later rounds, Wilder is more likely to catch him with the big right hand. Although I'm edging towards Zhang, watching Wilder's demeanour at the presser he really seems to feel that this is his last throw of the dice and I have a strong feeling he will perform a lot better than he did last time out.

@@Anthony_Joshua-s_Irish_Grandma you both talk absolute nonsense, The reason It never happened for AJ in response to Ashleys answer , is Wilder spent years shouting his mouth off, getting over 100 mil offers from DZAN, and didnt take any of the offers, This tells you who didnt want to fight, Wilder hadnt earnt anywhere near that money, nowhere close, and to turn it down tells you all u need to know. He just piped up everytime Aj fought to get some clout off AJs name. Wilder is a bum whos never beaten anyone of any worth at all in the top teir. As for Fury, Fury priced himself out numerous times to fight AJ, AJ had 3 or 4 of the belts and Fury had none, and Fury wanted 60-40 in his favor, totally pricing himself out, Whilst the whole time he knew he was going to be facing wilder for a 2nd and 3rd time. And to say AJ ducked fury and fought franklin instead is bs, AJ had just come off of 2 losses, and everybody knows AJ needed to restore some confidence, he needed a few fights to gain this.... And how ironic it is that at AJs lowest time, having lost twice, this is the time Fury decides to go on social media giving deadlines pretending to want to fight AJ , again to gain clout and try to make AJ look bad. AJ has by far the best resume out of all of them, and you 2 clowns cant stop hating the guy, whilst bumming the other 2 nobodies who have done f all, Furys last meaningful win was 8 years ago, and even after that he ran a mile from the contracted rematch. The guys a pussy and cherry pics all the time. whilst taking minimal risk. And Wilder has always been massively over hyped, never beaten anyone, didnt even fight anyone in the top 40 in his 1st 32 fights lol. Its easy to have 40 knockouts fighting bums isnt it, He arguably lost all 3 to Fury, then got battered by Parker, So the 2 times Wilder actually stepped up he lost, which leaves his best win is probably Ortiz who is 50 years old, and whom wilder was losing every round in both fight until he clipped Ortiz, So plz... Dont talk blx, because people who know the hole story will call you out on the rubbish you spout between you.

Ironically if Eubank was a bit sharper he'd have realised years ago that having a title adds more stacks to his purse if all he cares about is cash. A champion and a title fight adds more spice to a fight and therefore sells more with the champ very much in the driving seat(look how Fury sells his status for example) to work bigger purses and a bigger percentage of the pot and more.

Fully agree with Mr Grooves on Usyk 100%, on Wilder I think Malik is trying to create a boxer out of Wilder of which he isn't a boxer but a puncher, Xhilei may be because of his weight but always strike me as a poorly fit boxer always gasing out. Parker never die attitude and this time around Joyce stands no chance, may be Xhilei and Miller must be made, looking forward to Luiz and Miller though.

There's better shelve life value if Wilder struts out and chins Zhang. Zhang's a likable guy but he's older and has that language barrier so we're just not getting that spice in the build up to his fights unlike Wilder who just like AJ and Fury have that flare if needs be at press conferences which for me is worth half the fight as a complete entertainment value package. I'd lean towards Zhang winning purely because he's clearly the superior skillset as a boxer along with patience and a huge bomb of his own but with Wilder he's generally always looked like a clumsy clueless disaster until he flashes one of those lightning bolts home and the other guys asleep wondering how the hell that happened in a fight they might have been in complete control of. Enjoy them so long as they're here because when Wilder, AJ and Fury go there's really no characters left that stand out as interesting. You might not like any of those 3 guys, but they do generate interest and entertainment. All that's left is 2 word interview guys like DDD and Usyk and Ruiz etc. Nice guys, good fighters but dull personalities 🤣
