    Simon Jordon has never rated Usyk, it just shows what he knows about boxing. He wrote him off against AJ in both fights, and after the first fight he said, "Anthony Joshua fought usyk in the only way that Usyk could win". He then said the second AJ fight would be a easy victory for AJ, and when it wasnt, he then made out AJ was a busted flush. He didn't give Usyk a chance against Fury, and when Tony Bellew asked him why he believed that, he said "because fury has the better skills", really Simon? Hes not half as skilled as Usyk, and his size, and his reach, is the one and only advantage he has over Usyk.

    Exactly, and for the first 6 - 7 rounds, on the scoring rules of Boxing, FURY SCORED MORE SCORING POINTS, THAN USYK. Remembering, unless it's a knockdown, rounds are scored, 10 - 9, or 10 - 10, if a round was even, and only 10- 8, in a knockdown round, but I believe this fight should have been called a, Draw, as in my opinion, it hasn't shown, really, who is the best on the planet in this eara.

  • @paulsmith57

    @paulsmith57

    13 күн бұрын

    For this fight, to be called a split decision win to USYK was too close to call and should have been called a draw, especially with a rematch clause. No massive Clear Winner, for what was on offer to win, Remember, FURY V WILDER 1,,, FURY WON EVERY ROUND, YET THE VERDICT WAS, GIVEN, AS A DRAW!! SO THIS FIGHT WAS MUCH CLOSER WITH MORE ON THE LINE, BUT BEING CROWNED WORLD UNIFIED CHAMPION ON A SPLIT DECISION. TO ME,, PROVES NOTHING, I DISAGREE WITH SPENCER OLIVER, THAT USYK TOOK THE FIGHY TO FURY, FROM ROUND 1. I HAD FURY WINNING N IN FRONT UPTO ROUND 7.

    People who know boxing knew this it’s just the narrative they like to peddle for the casuals. Same as Bricktop with his Usyk’s a cry baby comments in the lead up. Glad he went for it and beat him quite literally from pillar to post! Never doubted Usyk this feather fisted narrative is ridiculous too he mixes up hard shots with lighter ones to be efficient but also to bamboozle his opponents! Death by 1000 cuts as they say. He said Chisora’s head was like hitting concrete so he was going to hardly risk breaking his hand in those final rounds against him when he had AJ lined up next was he? Yet people ran with that narrative.

    Give Usyk his props, 100% props. He fought a game and fully fit Fury and against the whole of the boxing industry and he whopped Fury’s ass in round 9, where the ref should have waved it off. Stop making excuses for Tyson Fury about his lack of motivation, desire and his lifestyle coming into play. Fury was at his best physically but not mentally because he knew Usyk was a serious threat and formidable opponent. Usyk defied the odds and beat Fury fair square and is probably pound for pound no.1.

It was a great fight with a clear winner in Usyk. I have to agree after watching the fight back with no commentary it gives you a clear picture of how easily Usyk actually won. I’d say 60-75% of Fury’s punches landed on Usyks arms and gloves. What I saw was the first time Fury was tagged by a Usyk left he panicked, probably at how hard he was hit. I think Fury feared Usyk before this fight and didn’t believe in himself that he could beat Usyk. How could Fury ever be one of the greats? Who exactly has he fought? His CV compared to someone like Usyks is laughable, a man who has ducked big fights consistently should never be thought of as one of the greats. He will be worried bout taking a shot of Usyk if there is a rematch and because of that I think Usyk wins bigger. It doesn’t matter what Fury does, Usyk will adjust and do what he does.

    I knew this was gonna happen, right off the bat from Simon it's "Why did Fury lose this fight? Was it his motivation? He didn't look the Wilder version, do you think he's the best version of Fury?" He didn't lose this fight. Oleksandr Usyk went out and won it. He is the best fighter that Fury has ever been in there with and he pressured him nonstop until he tired and he took over. Spencer is right about him making Fury work, but he understates it. That front foot pressure by Usyk was absolutely relentless all the way through. Fury didn't get the rests that he normally takes after landing his flashy combination, Usyk was right there again every time making him work. No rests. No Breaks. You can throw those combinations and move really well nonstop through these middle rounds but can you keep it up through 7, 8, 9 10? I don't think you can, but guess what? This guy can. He will not slow down. He will not stop. He is like a metronome and he is going to keep ticking until you switch him off but nobody's even been able to put a dent in him yet. It was an incredible display of pressure fighting from a genius against a man that ultimately couldn't keep up with him.

Before the fight, all i heard was how much of a supreme boxer Fury was and his speed, footwork, ring IQ was levels above Usyk and for all those reasons is why he lost Usyk’s footwork made him be able to close the distance with ease and create angles to use the lead hand as either a diversion or overhand forcing Fury to move left into the straight left every time..Fury was slow because he couldn’t move his feet quick enough and sorted to using his lead hand to just hold Usyk’s head and push his neck He showed how little he could adjust - look how Usyk used his IQ to switch the angle after the 6th to evade getting caught on the way in - shifting both his feet further to the right.. - genius Now it’s all can’t outbox him (we knew this already) - what we now know is he can’t bully either. It’s why he did everything he could to avoid Usyk. He managed to avoid AJ but the Saudis prevented Fury fighting Chisora for a tenth time. Thank you for this comment @seanmcquinn9603, it made my day. Whenwill the general public actually wake up to see that this so called emperor has been naked for quite a while. A pitiful sight, nonetheless. These two "experts" seems to believe that this was nothing more than tiny bump on Fury's road to world domination. What it is, is a monumental loss that only manifests what these two novices refuse to realize: Fury is done for, and has been for a good while now. It's unbelievable that a single match in 2015 against a totally undermotivated Klitschko can elevate this fake to be "the greatest of his generation". His thick head saves him time after time from getting knocked flat out out, but it won't get him redeemed against either Usyk or AJ, who are two high-performing athletes. Get rid of the clown and his pitiful clan and make room for the serious true sportsmen of their generation. Usuk has read him inside and out now. A rematch would be a disaster for Fury.

    I’m the former Manager and Trainer of Nigel Benn and l scored this fight closely on my own in the room and l could only give Fury Rounds 4,5,6,12. That it. Some Rounds were closer but as Spencer said Usyk was even nicking the close Rounds. This fight for me just exposed the WBC even more that yes they do fix fights if possible. Referee was put in there to assist Fury and the Judge who said Fury won was the WBC Judge. Thankfully the right man got the decision in the end.

    Desperation to find a reason as to why Fury didnt win and to justify the predictions of a good big one always beats a good little one... the better man won, Usyk always finds a way to adapt. If the rematch happens no doubt the rhetoric will be Fury needs to walk him down and use his size. If it was that easy it would have already happened. Plus Fury now knows Usyk can hurt him.
