Where do you get 7 and 1/2 beat in a 7 beat rupak taal.. It's 6 and 1/2

@@rhitaparnapal7850 watch/listen carefully. He skips the entire first "avartan" (which is 7 beats), then picks up the Tihai after skipping another 1/2 of a matra.That in essence means he skipped 7 (an avartan) and 1/2..

@@atanughosal01 not at all.. Please listen carefully.. He is playing the tihai from 6 and 1/2 beat.. Before the som he is playing the tihai.. And from wherever he is picking the tihai in a seven beat cycle there is no conception of 7 and half beat.. After seven beat it is again starts from 1..so in your argument it would be only 1/2 beat but the case is not so.. He is taking it from 6 and 1/2 beat.. If you count the palla of tihai you will get to know
