USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park | Military Museum - with jets, tanks, & submarines!
Hi Everyone! Thanks for joining us on another adventure, this time at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park | Military Museum - with jets, tanks, & submarines!
The USS Wisconsin Battleship was HUGE and a real blast to explore and see, and even though the USS Alabama Battleship is a little smaller, with the whole Battleship Memorial Park displaying water boats, helicopters, fighter jets, including the SR-71 spy jet, tanks, and the USS Drum Submarine...well there just wasn't enough time in one day.

About 8 minutes to the USS Alabama, pretty cool getting to see it regular driving by.

Only because we have crossed the country a couple of times, but we passed it twice before I finally just put my foot down to stop and check it out. I wish we were as close as you are because I'd spend another couple of weekends checking out the sub and SR-71 again. One of my favorite "adventures" so far. Thanks for watching!

Hi Bruce! Thank you for watching! Yes. It was very cool to be able to picnic right under the wings of a B-52. And my favorite of the planes was the the SR-71 Blackbird. 😄
얼마전에 샌디에고에서 비슷한 곳을 구경했는데 역시 멋지네요 식구들과 같이 찍는 영상 참 보기 좋네요 화이팅 입니다

I lived in Olympia for a while back in the late 80's. Washington is super beautiful!
Thank you for the tour. I live in Mobile. I have visited the memorial grounds only. Never went in the sub or on the ship. That was a nice tour.

The ship is super cool inside and out, but the sub took me into an entirely different perspective. I can't imagine days without sunlight much less months at a time!
So Mobile is only about 30 minutes from my hometown. Pascagoula, MS. To bad I didn’t ask where you were when we talked today! 😂

Agreed! Basically going around in a small iron coffin. I'm 6'1" and could barely make it through the hatch going from one room to another - not to mention the sleeping quarters. Part of the reason I chose the Army back in the day...

@@LennonAdventures I don't know what's more scary being a WW2 submarine sailors or WW2 bomber crews especially when the position you are using is ball turret and tail gunner.
