Sounds for Sleeping ⨀ Another Squadron of B-29s ⨀ 12 Hours ⨀ Dark Screen in 1 Hour ⨀ Superfortress
Ойын-сауық
For this sounds for sleeping deep sleep video, I found some authentic WW2 footage of B-29s on bombing runs during the great war. There's a full hour of footage before the screen fades to black. For the sound, I took some authentic B-29 audio that I purchased and edited in audacity so that I could approximate the sound of several Superfortress's flying in formation. I made sure the video depicted actual B-29s, as the first video I created featuring a Squadron of B-29's I mistakenly used an image of B-17s. Rest assured that this video features B-29 visuals and audio. Enjoy!

My father flew the B-29 in Korea. He use to tell me that when all four engines were thottled correctly, the sound would always make you sleepy...on the way back...

I get it. And on occasion, I do try to sleep without any assistance, but most night's I just can't stand all of the little noises I hear coming from outside. It isn't easy living so close to other people, and noise pollution is a very real thing. It's either loud vehicles, people yelling, fireworks, planes flying overhead, car horns; there's usually just so much random noise coming from outside that I have to drown it out with one of my sleep videos in order to relax and fall asleep.

I like to imagine I’m a Captain of a B-29 flying over the night skies of Japan with a huge squadron of other B-29’s, getting ready for a mission, and having conversations with the other men. It always puts me to sleep instantly, thanks for this.

More to come. I had a request for some B-29 with some light flak sounds and bombs dropping. I also made some b-29 with light radio chatter, b-17 as well also of both varieties. Just finished up a b-24 video as well. Will be releasing them all within the next few weeks. Thanks for listening!

I imagine that God is flying the plane somewhere high, above the pacific. Slight chill in the air, as lay in my hammock. I place all problems in His capable hands. I let Him have control of it all, and even if it’s my time to go, I trust him with that too. God is my pilot. I have nothing to fear.

I came here to hear the sound of the B-29 because I'm reading "A Boy Called H," and he describes the sound...I can understand how this seemingly calm sound could be terrifying. Reading an account from a child's perspective is a reminder that everyone suffers in war.

"Just as the droning seemed to be almost overhead there came a rushing sound like a sudden downpour of rain, and the incendiary bombs came pouring down, sparkling like fireworks. The sight of these clusters of fire falling from the sky was stirring- in a strange way, beautiful. So this was one of the nighttime raids he'd heard such a lot about, thought H as he gazed up at them...Aware that there was no real escape from such a rain of fire, he nevertheless dived into the house to protect himself from a direct hit."
