Thank you so much for these videos! For the first question in this video, would you mind elaborating on why IV administration wouldn't have the shortest Tmax? I understand inhaled anesthetics are "closer" to the arteries but IV does not require absorption whereas inhaled anesthetics would depend on the blood solubility and MAC of the specific inhaled anesthetic administered. Thank you!

I WAS ABOUT COMING TO ASKED THAT BUT IT DONED ON ME THAT IV WILL HAVE TO GO TO THE HEART, THEN LUNGS, THEN BACK TO THE HEART BEFORE REACHING THE ARTERY.

It should be IV route unless it is a continuous infusion. IV route has no absorption and Cmax reaches almost as soon as drug is injected. Inhaled anesthetics take a little bit longer than IV

For the second question- how do you know that the 20mOsm cap is referring to saturating carrier proteins used in facilitated diffusion and not equilibrating the concentration gradient for something like simple diffusion?

Dr. Neil first of all thank you for videos. As far as I know rabeprazole (PPI) inhibits H-K ATPase. How does it inhibit Na-K ATPase? Digoxin and oubain inhibit Na-K ATPase. I think there is a mistake. Please Correct me if I'm wrong.
