Now onto the neuro anatomy of the lower limb! Today, we'll talk all about the nerves in the legs, starting from the glutes down.
Glutes: the three main muscles of the gluteus include the gluteus maximus, medius, and minimus. Damage here can cause difficulty getting out of a chair, or Trendelenburg gait. You should know that the superior gluteal innervates the medius and minimus, while the inferior gluteal innervates the gluteus maximus.
The upper leg muscles consists of the quadriceps which extend your leg, your adductors which adduct, and your hamstrings which flex your legs.
The femoral nerve innervates your quadriceps, while the obturator nerve innervates your adductors, and finally the hamstrings are innervated by the sciatic nerve.
The last portion of this video is dedicated to the lower leg and ankle. There are two nerves that innervate the lower leg, and both stem from the sciatic nerve. These branches include the common peroneal, which helps the ankle evert and dorsiflex (damage here causes foot drop). The second branch is the tibial nerve which helps the ankle invert and plantarflex.
We round things off with a quick talk about disc herniation and how it can impinge nerves and cause deficits.

according to kaplan plantar flex s1 and s2
Informative and easy to understand, however it would be nicer if you could show the movements of the legs, maybe place the camera further away from you. and also speak a little slower and clearer :) I had a hard time understanding what you're saying. thanks and keep up the good work!
You are so cute :)
