My brother is currently in bootcamp in San Diego and it has been the hardest emotions to deal with but he will soon graduate as a US Marine in October ! So watching this made me really emotional and excited ! I miss my little brother so much😪💙

Trust me, I still do. After bootcamp they only had 10-day leave, so he's away again and doing more trainings, he'll be back in November. House feels so lonely without my little brother. 😔 But I'm so excited for you!! Sure, it's going to be one of the best days of your life! ❤🥰

A lot of friendly banter exist between the Army and Marine Corp, but we are all brothers and we fight for the same cause. just got back from bootcamp in san diego 3 days ago. i remember when hotel graduated, i remember seeing them in their dress blues and seeing their families, and i remember thinking to myself “dang, that’s so frickin cool, that’ll me be in one month.”

Oh my! Congratulations! You made it!! ❤ I remember seeing recruits training, crowding and lining up outside with their freshly shaved heads and felt so scared for them in that moment knowing it's gonna be a tough journey that lies ahead. When I first saw my brother that's when I knew my research about the training was not a joke, that he had gone not just some kind of training but a really really hard one. That's why I salute all of you being able to surpass your boot camp training. Enjoy your leave, Marine! 🥳💛

Thank you so much! 🥰 They can go home with their families right after graduation, in which, in our time the ceremony ended at 10:30 AM. Others would get a 10-day break, others would get 2 weeks (if I remembered it correctly) before they would proceed on to their respective MOS trainings.😊

That's so exciting! I have so much respect for all the marines and all future marines. 💛 What they have to go through and have gone through with all the intense training both physically and mentally, and the after. So much respect for that.

Hi, as far as I can remember they didn't require anything. They just checked our IDs upon entry :)

Family day we got there around 8 AM at the depot theater, but earlier the better. Graduation ceremony started at 7:30 AM.

lol you have golf garcarts? In Leavenwroth, they send you back to the office, Get your papers first =p.

If I uber to the base, they will have those shuttles available to take you to the correct places?

East of the Mississippi River you will go to Parris Island, west you will be a Hollywood Marine (San Diego)

@@elijahhoward5758 Worst thing about San Diego is you get to see the airliners taking off from Lindbergh Field every day, wishing you were on one of them. And God help you if you make the mistake of saying so out loud. The best thing about San Diego is that when you finally DO graduate, you finally get to be on one of those planes, and if you sit on the starboard side, you get to see all the guys down there still getting yelled at and wishing they could be on that plane with you.
