Using Visual Progress Badges to Gamify Storyline 360 Quiz Slides

Are you looking for simple ways to gamify your Storyline 360 quiz and assessments? One way is to show learners their progress with visual progress badges or progress meters. In Storyline 360, you can easily add these types of graphics to your quiz slides.
Adding visuals like badges or progress meters can help motivate learners to complete your quiz or assessment. They can see how far they’ve progressed and be encouraged to keep going until they’ve reached the end.
If you’re interested in gamifying your Storyline 360 quiz or assessment, consider adding visual progress indicators. It’s a simple way to add a little extra incentive for learners to complete the task at hand. In Storyline 360, you can create visual progress bars or badges using variables that track how learners answered each question.

HI, I really found this video easy to follow and a great example. Just 2 things that keep bugging me: a) for the variable trigger Q1 - change trophy 1 to correct if Q1= true but also same variable trigger Q1 - change trophy 2 if Q2 = True Why not variable trigger for Q2 - change trophy 2 when Q2 =true? it is a bit confusing however, what happens in you example is a) if Q1=true --> trophy=correct, if Q2=false --> the trophy 2 is unchanged, and so on I figured out that the trigger for the variable change for Q1 have to be for all variables, its tedious if you have 10 variables (LOL) But what I would like to achieve is, that instead of indicating which question was answered correct and we have a series of green and grey trophies, I would like to see only 2 trophies green, even if that is Q2+3 o 1+2 or 1+3 answered correctly

This is a great idea. Suppose a learner gives an incorrect answer, then the progress trophy would change to some other color? And would it change back to green if they answer correctly (if they are given a re-try option)?

Hi ELLez. I created a true/false variable called "ResetTrophyVariable" to clear the custom variables that track correct/incorrect. Here's what that looks like: d.pr/i/pvwNlo And then I have 3 triggers on the slide master that reset the state of each trophy if the "ResetTrophyVariable" is True: d.pr/i/4bLmHB Here's the Storyline project file so you can take a look: d.pr/f/LihObj
