I had no idea how to gamify Storyline, but now I am confident I can build some elements for projects. I like the way you had the learner estimate their knowledge of the subject. This helps the learner reflect on their strengths and weaknesses.💞💞💞

Hello Mark! I am trying to follow your tutorial "How to famify an articulate storyline quiz", however I have many questions on how to import for example the "bet your coins" and the value. Also, although I have followed all steps, I cannot seem to separate the slide layers from the base layer. Any help appreciated! Also, how do you set the initial 500 coins? thanks!

Hi Mark, I've stepped through this with a sample question of my own, but I seem to be a bit lost. I can't see how the value of 375 coins is automatically assigned when the user clicks the "A LOT" button. I know this is 75% of 500, and I know where you set the 75%, but where does the 500 come from? Also, where is the %PlaceCoinsCompare% variable used and for what purpose? Am I missing something?

Hi Dermot a user gets 500 coins at the start of the quiz. That explains where the 500 coins come from 😉 I use the PlaceCoinsCompare variable in conditions on the buttons to bet lower or higher. So a learner can't bet more coins then 75% and not less then 100

This is cool. Enjoyed following along with you. I have a couple concerns though. How do you stop the learner from betting more coins than they have? They should be limited to betting only what they currently have.
