looking to finally graduate from our simple drip cofeemaker to a fully automatic. We're very interested in this machine! are there any other brands with comparable models that we should also consider as a compare/contrast? How is Jura's service/support if needed?

I was once a big fan of Seaco but their machines are nothing like what they once where. I believe that Jura is the top of the top for fully automatic machines. We get excellent support from Jura and hardly ever have issues with their machines.

I just ordered this today…moving on from gaggia anima prestige after many years. One gripe we had with the gaggia was the coffee temperature. It just wasn’t hot enough. Is the ENA8 producing hot drinks? Thanks

Love my Ena 8. The drinks are hot enough to burn you.

I have a Gaggia Anima Prestige and I keep the water at the hottest level. I like hot drinks. The machine does just fine. I heard the Jura ena 8 does not make very hot milk drinks. I think you will be disappointed.

I understand not using Starbucks dark roast because of their being oily but how about their light roast like breakfast blend?

No, just the milk system

Can you use the coffee-mate vanilla cream to make a cappuccino?

Is someone able to explain how to tear down the machine for a full "wash". regards

Don't buy this machine, After a year of use it has a lot of surprises, the quality of the coffee often breaks down and deteriorates, it is an office toy, not professional.
