My cousin had an ipod touch 2g with 32GB and he filled up with games pretty easly, i had one with 8GB and its not an exception i can barely have games on it, but still, i saved all games on my pc i wanted to play one game again

I’ve always had 8/16 GB, then I had a 512GB iPad because it was the only one in stock and had a crazy good price, and MAAN. It’ huge 😂

I wasn’t. iPods for me were solely for music and I have a massive music library. The only thing that could hold it all was the classic. I used the classic through my teen years.

I grew up with this thing and even if it’s not that practical, i still keep it plugged in and mess around with it sometimes. I’m so nostalgic for the iPod touch 4G and pretty much everything older. Everyone had these in 2010-2012 along with a DS or a DSi (3DS if you were a cool kid) 🥺 I think the iPod touch 4G, DSi, and the 3DS were most early gen z’s first camera. I remember I would stand in from of my TV in 2011 with my 3DS and record episodes of Spongebob, Phineas and Ferb, and Adventure Time. Lmao the things you remember about tour childhood 😂

Literally my childhood😭my cousin gave me his iPod around 8 years ago. My older brother also gave me his Nintendo DS, but it didn’t have a camera. He also gave me his GameBoy Advanced. We used to love watching Spongebob and Adventure Time together, and we watched Phineas and Ferb with our cousin. I don’t remember if my cousin gave me a 3rd gen iPod or a 4, but I didn’t know there was an App Store, so the only games I would play were Paper Toss and Ski Ball that he had downloaded😂man I miss those days🥺🥺

I got mine in early 2011 running iOS 4.2.1 when I was 13, so nostalgic... The iPod Touch 4 was the poor-students-iPhone-4 at the time and very advanced, considering many people didn't have touch screens at all. I wish Apple would have kept the shiny look of iOS 4,5,6

That iPod was my life line way back when. I used that thing literally to death( got the screen replaced after cracking it, then cracked it again years later, battery doesn't hold a charge, and the back camera lens is scratched to hell) but It was my introduction to Apple and touch screen smart devices and I still have it sitting in my drawer. Might try to fix it down the road one day.

I remember that my very first Apple touch screen smart device that I had and still have is the 2nd generation ipod touch that I remember buying new in early 2009. Still works great for listening to music, but can't really handle internet anymore. You can still find these for cheap on ebay and in good condition. They still great if you just want to listen to downloaded music and videos.

I kept mine i got many many years ago replaced the battery cus it wouldnt even stay on 😂 thats a pain to do than i fixed the screen cus i cracked it and now i use it every once in a while when i feel nistogic lol

I used to have one of these a my first ever "phone" back when I was 6 years old. I remember scrolling through 4 playlist on iTunes that I had and just listening to the same tunes over and over again. What a nostalgia.

I still use mine, almost every day. 64gb, still running strong

The 5th was the beginning of the end

This was my first apple device and the amount of happiness it gave me back in the day is irreplaceable. I still have it and i feel like its so much better just for music specially when going on morning walk and working out.

Love the 4th gen, got a 32gb for $10 a while back loaded with basically all of my favorite games from back in the day. Amazing device on iOS 6 and very fun to play with 😃👍

@@SunnyViviews itunes or jailbreak or connecting apple account from your new phone etc iphone 5-13pm as they have support on some of your fave games. Just download and it says outdated and download the old version

Considering how 32 bit has been obliterated from existence, my jailbroken iPod Touch 4/3's are my most portable handheld gaming systems & for that it is FLAWLESS. Infinity Blade 1-3, Dead Space, Battlefield BC2, Driver, Mirrors Edge, CoD Zombies, Ridge Racer & an INFINITE amount more! The absolute best, most "console AAA" games came out in this era, before Micro Transaction pay to win hell we're in now. Infinity Blade 1 in particular SMOKES every 3DS game in terms of visuals & even puts up a fight against most UE3 games on the Vita. Truly incredible devices that with gaming in mind are some of the best mobile experiences possible. Being able to play all of the unsupported or unlisted ios games I have acquired from 2010 to today is surreal especially after having 99.9999% become "lost" to the ether. Great video!

Still running one of these daily. Feels more iconic than what we get nowadays.

I still have a ipod touch 4. I got it when I was back in grade 3 and only used it for a few months. Moved and lost it, and just found it last week💀

Never clicked on a notification so fast ! I actually still use one for music and it's perfectly fine for that. I ordered this on ebay brand new, unopened ! And best of all : it's on IOS 5.0 ! It's actually pleasant to use on IOS 5... and I will certainly not update it !

I just picked one up with 8GB for $25-ish and was happy with my decision. Something about purchasing the exact thing you wanted in your childhood but couldn’t get it until many years later is satisfying 😄 as for the iPod itself, because I only got into iOS much later in life I wasn’t able to download anything other than doodle jump and facebook. I think while I got this I might as well start a collection soon. ✨

Bought this iPod in 2012. Still have it works great as a music player in my work truck USB connection it just lives there now :-) being somebody who still continues to build on my iTunes library and by physical media it’s perfect for me.

This was my first Apple device, near the peak of iOS's Golden Age. The advertising was on point, and this was the first iPod for many of my friends. I remember those middle school days where all the kids were playing Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies multiplayer over Bluetooth during lunch break. Those were the days...

I’m still using mine to this day. My grandma got it for me when I was 12 years old. It was like the greatest thing ever for me. But none the less it’s home is in my car lol

Bought one myself brand new (A black 32GB model) on eBay for $80 back in September of 2019. Been using it as a music player, and honestly it’s only purpose is to bring me nostalgia from the early 2010’s.

My first ever Apple product was an iPod Touch 4th Generation 8GB Black that shipped on iOS 4.3.5 but I kept updating it until its last update on iOS 6.1.6. I got it for my 10th birthday in August 2011 and regrettably threw it away in 2016. So many memories

A family member had an iPod touch 4 years and years ago- and it stuck in my memory ever since. I now have my own one, which I use for music, jailbreaking and iMessage. I got it because I wanted an iOS 6 device

After watching this I pulled out my old IPod Touch 4. To my amazement it can still run the web version of KZread. It was also fun listening to all of my old music. I have starting ripping all of my old CDs and am going to use it as a music player, giving the battery in my SE2 a bit of a break.

The games we had back then the way apple felt in 2010 was special

This iPod Touch was basically my first iOS device and I did post a lot of photos on Instagram using the camera. Sad to see that this was the last iPod touch that basically a Wi-FI version of the latest iPhone. Since then the iPod touch was basically neglected. I still wish there is an iPod touch that has the latest chip and a decent camera. I know the market for the new iPod touch is getting slimmer but one can only hope.

I remember getting my iPod Touch 4 in Christmas 2012. So much nostalgia and memories from that device.

Because the games aren’t ginormous amounts of storage sure some games are 10-18 gb but you can get a micro sd card for dirt cheap

I still have one of these: and because I don’t have a phone I still use it. I use it for music (I have a ~900 song library in iTunes), KZread/Facebook (via Safari), and Web-Browsing (again via Safari)

You can jailbreak it (evasi0n) and fix teh KZread app crashing and stopping you from using it without updates, there are 2 Cydia plugins for that matter.

My dad had a second gen iPod touch and i watched “TNT” by Captain Sparkles for the first time on it, discovering Minecraft. My sister and I got 4th gens for Christmas in 2011 and watching this video brought back so many memories.

I just happened across one of these in a box. Charged it up. Seems to work fine...how do I turn it off?

Still works great as an iPod using Neutron music player. Excellent sound. Even with a rubber case it fits easily into a pocket and also works great with Bluetooth headphones. The build quality is first rate, especially when compared to the iPod 5. Mine has iOS 6.1.6 and I will down rev it to an earlier iOS 6 as it noticeably slowed down after 6.1.6 was installed. Great little music player.

How do I install the last version of Spotify supported by this iPod??

I wanted one back in 2010 when I was 12, but my parents wanted me to have a phone since my teenaged years were just around the corner. So I made a proposition, "how about a get an iPhone 4?" It worked! So that Christmas I got an iPhone 4. Those were the days.

I had mine like many years ago and I still use it but only as a music player/ calendar/ alarm. It works perfectly for these purposes and I like the ios 6 nostalgia😂

This was my first introduction to apple back in 2010 and damn did it work of me getting into their ecosystem. And at that time the cameras for me were great, shooting and editing videos on such device were mind blowing for me at the time. Playing games of that time also. But it soon became very slow...

Before I bought my Apple watch, I would use mine for running and listening to my jams and would leave my phone at the house. I loved mine to bits which is why I was so happy I could keep using it as a combo to my Android phone. Wrote a lot of poems and have my whole life pre 2012 in it. My music library is valuable to me so I am looking to get it back from Mexico one day since eI had left it for my mother to use. She now has an iPhone 11 and does not need it. I do not know why I shared my life in this comment lol.

I will use one that I had for over eight years tomorrow morning at my church for a few worship songs. The music sounds great and actually the colors from the cameras are pretty accurate. Overall, it was a great unit that serve well for the time I had it. I know however it won’t last much longer. I have a seventh generation ready to replace it.

I got one of these for Christmas of 2010. It was my 1st personal touch screen IOS device. My mom had an iPhone 3GS. I would watch KZread videos on it so much and listen to music. I plugged it into the computer and accidentally restored at and lost all my data. I wish I still had the pictures that were on it.

That was my first ever Apple product. Loved it back in 2010. Then I upgraded it to an iPad Air 2 in 2014 and finally I replaced my Air 2 for an iPhone SE 2022 few weeks ago. I'm using the SE like an iPod touch to be honest, I'm using an Android phone as my main phone. Each time, it was a generational leap in term of performance. I'm really happy about my slow schedule for upgrading my Apple devices.

I have an iPod 4 and an iPod 5. I use my iPod 4 for music and podcasts for my commute to work. And it has never given me problems. Never been an app guy, so I'm content with the iPod 4. iPod 5 for podcasting was more trouble than it is worth, but it is great for audiobooks.
