Honestly the best AD I’ve seen yet. CHIPS!!
When the merch become part of the content.
I spent hours with the camera and printer. Even took it to work and took selfies with everyone.... and making music was awesome. Thanks WD
i love this passion you have for the gb camera, all of your vids are so entertaining
This is really interesting stuff. I like the idea of tech restraints to force distinct style of image.
I love this and probably won't ever own a GB camera, just love seeing cool projects with retro hardware
Your videos are always interesting, insightful, well written and with no waste. Really a pleasure.
Every minute of this video was so fun!!! Thanks for making it!!
I know the last Game Boy Camera video didn’t do great, but I LOVE these videos. I would love to see them more when you have more updates!
Great video the pictures give you a warm retro throw back feeling thank you for that 😊
Thanks for the video! Awesome video man!
I love these kinds of videos! Makes me want to get a Gameboy camera. I had one back in the day 😁
Bing! I subscribed! Thanks for making this video!!
Great video as always, Bob!
Love your vids dude
I remember being over the moon being popular for once, because I was the only person with a portable camera on a school trip. It was the game boy camera. And the school didn’t exactly have a lot of tech rules yet. I argued it was my camera, so I could use it. I was 15. I am now 35 (yes I’m old 😂)
Awesome video man. It so crazy how much more we can get out of "outdated" retro tech. So cool
I hope you'll do this again when the Analogue Pocket comes out, I know I'll be trying it
I bought the Submodule cart reader after this video. Thanks. I've been always looking for something that works plug and play for Mac to download my gameboy camera photo
I appreciate the fact you make the ad reads really entertaining
I look forward to that lens modded video in the future, also is that still the *same* boss in Megaman Zero that you're stuck on? (thanks for the cart-ripper suggestion, as well, might need to grab that...)
I just gotta say, that was the *best* commercial I have have ever seen! I was laughing out loud a few times. You should be sponsored.
Lol, Will made a stealth return to the channel with that voice over in the commercial. Nice!
Screw the algorithm. More weird artsy retro bob videos!
Best sponsor clip ever?
Awesome details and video! I was also inspired to try the Game Boy camera as a webcam. I made my setup slightly simpler again by using a Super Game Boy + a Retro-Bit Super RetroTRIO Plus 3 in 1, which gives your direct HDMI output and a cheap USB/HDMI capture dongle!
I love your videos, and you inspire me to do KZread, and also you're the reason I got a switch recently, thanks for the great content!

You're desktop background is amazing lol. I'm glad you finally tried using the printer in a video. Sorry it sucks. I've tried cleaning the heating printer element so many times and just can't get to it directly. It's essential a receipt printer that uses heat on thermal paper. I've actually threw a receipt from the store into and it works. Unfortunately, I left paper in it when I had it in storage and it became crusty and crumbly which is what all the mess is inside of it and why it doesn't print so great anymore.
Cool stuff Bahb!
How isn't this video way more seen, this is so f good
This is so cool! I kind of want my own gameboy camera now. Have you considered using a Marseille active hdmi cable to bump up the resolution for your stream? Linus tech tips had a video about it, and it seemed to work really well. Perhaps in combination with an ossc? Anyway, keep it up I really enjoyed the video
Dude this is fascinating!
God damn, I love your videos!
this is so amazing 😭❤️
I had one of these.. good memories!
This motivates me to use mine for photography but I don’t know if I want to drop the money on the gismo yet

I really like it when people take 3 photos of the same object with different colored filters and merge them into one color photo. It is a really neat effect and looks great.

The 8 Bit Guy did that with an old black and white webcam, it was a pretty cool video.
Great video Bob
I remember an article a while ago about a guy using a gameboy camera to take (relatively) nice pictures of the moon. Super cool.
That sponsored ad tho. Love it
Very damn impressive Video :D Bob you made a good Job :)
this is some beautiful stuff
Just thrifted a gameboy. Gonna try this out love how the images come out
You can do a batch print on the gameboy camera under the options section
Can't even explain how much I want to watch Gameboy Camera livestreams
I had one of those I loved it
Can't wait to see this video again when the Analogue Pocket comes out.
I wanna see someone blow up one of these photos to the size of a billboard. Tremendous!
i ave always wanted to be a photographer in my spare time and this is so cool its actually inspiring me lmao
I commented on your other video and I noticed you were using a gbc this time a gb which one would take a better picture
Fall guys with gameboy camera from now on! Great stuff bobby boi
Bob! You look well rested... NICE! :)
When is the retroid pocket 2 video coming out
Wow for a gamer you really know heaps about photography as well 😍
you have the best sponsor ads
Dropping a view, like and comment.. keep up the good work 😊
This reminded me of the Dex Drive for N64, which could rip your save data from N64 memory cards onto your PC -- I remember making a Geocities page for people to upload and trade data, which was kinda cool for trading custom characters and maps, etc, but it turns out that NOT MANY OTHER PEOPLE had Dex Drives and also I was like 14 and lived in a tiny town and had one friend, and wow if you've read this far you must be bored
mGBA has a build on 3DS where it can emulate the Game Boy Camera. Pretty cool to be able to still mess with it and take pictures a recent Nintendo console, even if it is homebrew.
This nails that good ol’ fashion fun factor.
the best picture i ever took with my gameboy camera was when i was in catholic school and saw mike ditka speak at a church, and he let me use it to take a picture of him in front of reporters. years later my file got corrupted and all the pictures i had on it got erased. i was so mad. lol
Need to see a Game Boy camera on the Analogue Pocket video now
Loved this
That ad was incredible
Epic game boy images
great vid :)
Can you print the images in bulk with the wifi printer? You can with the actual printer
Hey, I have one of those cart readers. Time to go shopping for a gameboy camera!
I actually just got some 3d printed parts delivered in the mail to modify my gameboy camera to support both pentax and canon lenses. I will probably be buying a GB01 at sometime in the near future.
Me: Misses this video *Fine, I’ll subscribe.*
big like and a new subscriber! 🏆🏆🏆
Very cool video, I think that the GB01 is no longer available unfortunately, have ordered the wifi printer module, is a good price.
I like a lot the Gameboy Camera, it would be nice for me get an SNES Jr and a Gameboy Player too to make some mess with it too.
Liking and commenting just because the omaze ad was excellent. I haven’t even watch the video yet :O
This is going to be the next craze!

The GameBoy Camera WiFi Printer is epic!
Awesome stuff
you should compare it to the nick click (which i used to own one)
Photo-wise should be cool to turn that into some sort of zine or short kinda project online but don't see it being, at least to the medium consumer, useful for $50 worth of just casual use.
I used photoshop to edit the photos too, but I used the "Image > Mode > Indexed Color" option to set the palette. Sometimes I used the Pizzaboy emulator too to take some photos (yes, I can use the Gameboy Camera rom perfectly fine with my phone camera)

same, but i dont know how to save my gameboy camera photos on my gallery
Why am I more interested in Bob's PC Wallpaper 6:22
I want to see someone use the photos as like, sprites for a game and then maybe some other pictures as the backgrounds and soofs
I'd watch a whole video on that ad you made
Thanks for this video! I just ripped the photos from 2001 off of my Gameboy Camera and now they're safe on my hard drive.
Best ad to date
easy mode is myoldboy! emulator on android. you can use the gameboy camera rom and it works with your phone camera and you can save them to your phone.
Very cool !
Damn gameboy photo aesthetic goes hard
i just use retroboy thats available for android phones. its really neat and lots of options. i use my profile picture with that.
I’m a bit late to the party and the GB01 is no longer for sale. In your research did you find any other cart readers that have GB Camera-specific support?

I am in the same boat. Any ideas?
yess I would love someone to actually mod a decent dish cam into the gameboy .
that desktop background
This is great
I had one of these around 1997/8 and I was 12/13 at the time. This was insane! First ever digital camera, and before the Nokia face-plate brick phone came out in high school. I chose a green camera as I thought it went well with my see-through pocket GB matching the chip sets. Fond memories! Do I wish I still had it? No, it's f******* shit.
