You seriously are one of the best microphone reviewers I have ever seen. You aren't even trying to really review hem in a traditional sense, you are just so knowledgeable that your commentary while performing tests speaks more about them than any reviewer could ever hope to! Props and thank you for making these video!

Thank you, it's simply that I've been singing and making music for a long time, and... I'm into the gear I use, perhaps a bit too much! I'm aware that the detail may go beyond what the average user requires but hey!

I like the sound of the icon pro!

What I noticed in the singing excerpts is that the DPA did fit in the mix beautifully despite the troubles with the lowend. The Earthworks has more 'presence' but is also musical here, with great of axis and distance response, where the Neumann is lacking all of that. Hands down for you most valuable mic reviews.

The IconPro sounded the best to me on the singing/keyboard section. it sounded the most natural, and smooth with a lil bite on top end but not too much... and I also think it has better transient response.

Sir Anton, would you please be willing to check a few covers I have recorded on my youtube channel and give me your opinion of what mic would suit my voice? It's mostly grunge, melodic punk etc, so heavy rock in general. But I want a fine mic cos singing pays my bills. I am thinking of getting sr314 and would really appreciate hearing your thoughts since you have a lot of experience with microphones. So far I have been using beta 58 for the past 15 years.

Please, bring the Ksm9 into the game
