Join me capturing stunning images of Kat for her lifestyle brand. The estate's architecture and design are breathtaking, setting the perfect backdrop for our photography session. As I guide Kat through different portrait pose ideas, I can't help but marvel at the natural grace with which she moves. I offer suggestions here and there, but she effortlessly embodies each shot with her own style.
Retouching these photos is a breeze with Evoto, especially with its bulk retouching feature and the ability to save and sync presets. This shoot isn't just about capturing Kat; it's about showcasing the luxurious ambiance of the resort, an essential part of her lifestyle brand. With each click of the camera, I'm not just capturing moments; I'm crafting a visual narrative that speaks volumes about Kat's brand identity, and how I retouch her portraits is a part of that.

    do you like the R5 or the 6II better? i think you used to use the '5 almost exclusively in the past. i understand they both have their place but, im going mirrorless in another month but will be staying with EF-L glass and a converter because R glass is beyond any justifiable expense right now

    What continues to confuse me is the workflow. By most people showing the benefit of using Evoto to edit, they begin with their jpegs already loaded up and ready to go. I'd like to understand what is happening to the files before they become a jpeg that you are ready to edit the subject. Are files being exported out of Lightroom Classic with basic edits at a particular resolution then loaded to an Evoto project for retouch?

  • @VanessaJoy

    @VanessaJoy

    3 ай бұрын

    Yup, you got it! For my clients, I edit everything in LR (with Imagen AI) and then export the files to give to them. THEY choose what they'd like retouched (I charge for retouching in a shoot like this, and for weddings and engagements include it in anything they have printed), and I run those images through Evoto :-)

    Great video Vanessa 👏 Hope it's okay if I ask something not the topic for this video but that still came up as I watched it 🌱 May I ask how you work with pricing for a session like this? Do you have a certain amount of images included that the client know for sure she will get; Or does she pay per image she selects; Or do you just give her everything (and if that's the case then how does a client know how much they will get when they book a session like this)? I struggle a bit about pricing my branding photography sessions and think a session like this could be the same. Something else: You mention that you did a bit of video also and I thought it could be veery interesting and helpful to follow along how you do this and act you deliver to your clients when they need some video content for so-me etc. Thanks a lot in advance ;-)

  • @VanessaJoy

    @VanessaJoy

    3 ай бұрын

    Hey! So pricing for these kids of sessions is per hour, and then retouching is additional per picture depending on the type of retouch. You can see the video shots I got here and how I used them: instagram.com/reel/C3pyUueufwn/?igsh=ZzlvbDY1OThld3Yw Will definitely do a video on this soon!
