One exciting product that is currently trending on social media right now is water beads! Water beads also referred to as water crystals and gel beads are polymer crystals that look like little beads. At first, water beads are completely dry and will be tiny, hard beads. After water is added, they absorb the water and expand to the size of a marble. Allow them to soak in water for 4-8 hours. Once the water is absorbed into the bead, they will look like a squishy, translucent ball. There are several uses for water beads. They can be used in decorating, watering plants, and even for kids’ sensory play. The most common use for water beads is in decorating. Utilize them in vases, bowls and clear jars for eye appeal. Add a floating candle to vases with water beads. Experiment with using different colors and shapes of water beads too. The possibilities are endless!
