My best guess is that hot water contains more kinetic energy. Orbeez is a super absorbant polymer, which means that the way it grows is by absorbing water molecules into the tiney widdol balls. I'm assuming that hot water's high kinetic energy makes it easier to grow

We can make Orbeez balls with growing balls but not in very hot and very cold. Normal water it's possible

If it’s sped up due to the hot water then it’s life span will just be weaker as it can get softer and become sludge when you fire the round and just disintegrate mid air or hitting target. Normal water just works best, good results take time 😂
