Hi, I know I'm a year late but I saw this idea and I love it. I'm considering this for centerpieces for my daughter's sweet 16. However, I want to mix diamond confetti with pearls. Do you know if the diamond confetti will float the same? I haven't seen any videos with floating gems. Thank you in advance.

It's probably too late but you could always glue gems on to a heavier ball.

Can you look into the topic of bridesmaids dresses? Current trends, where to buy in Jamaica. I can't seem to get that info anywhere.

How do you keep the water beads from separating from the water after sitting for a long time?

Question does the beads turn hard after it dissolve so you can use it for yearly basis??

May I ask what water beads are you using that will allow the pearls to float after only one hour? I have found that it takes hours for the gel beads to fill with water allowing the pearls to float. Even the directions state that they need at least 6-8 hours.

Hi, If you purchase a one pound bag. You should be able to do all 16 Centerpieces. I usually don’t measure and I usually use about a handful and see how much it swells and the add as needed.

Lynda Samuels we usually half fill them with water and then on location add water to the desired height that you need. Also you can go to the location 2 to 3 hours before you need them and set them up. We set up on site most of the time.

How long does it stay like this?

It will remain like this as long as it has water. Usually you would have to refill it after about 48 hours.

Hi love your demo. I have a problem... I have the water Pearl's . I put in some water beads then added a few pearls then added more water pearl's.. layered but within a few seconds my pearl beads began to sink.... what am I doing wrong ... any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.. Juls

Overnight is not necessary. If you are in a tropical climate like we are where it’s warm and hot the pearls will expand in 1 to 2 hours sometimes less.
