I unintentionally learned American English growing up, so I continued focusing more on that dialect (I'm not a native speaker). However, since I started teaching English, I realized I need to be more educated in at least those two of the most prevalent English dialects because I have students from all profiles wanting to learn different things. These videos are so helpful, and your voice is so soothing. Thank you so much!

Ciao Elliott. I am an addicted of sound. So your videos are crucial for me. This is just a personal passion. I work with the English language all the time. This is not the point, however. I am a pianist, too. I've studied for years in a professional environment. I took the final degree as Piano performer. However what really changed my performances was my experience in the chamber music, with other musicians, other instruments. In this experience LISTENING makes the difference. Music has helped me a lot in my studies. Especially when phonetic was the main issue. How English people speak has become a sort of "lovely" game...where imitation plays a fundamental role. I started studying long time ago, when there was any KZread and no Internet. I remember I used to record the BBC broadcasting when I succeeded in finding it! Thank you so much for your efforts. I wish you a lot of success. By the way, I remember I learnt to elide the final "t" in "a bit" listening to people all the time when I was in Torquay for a couple of months. I was 18 yo... Now I beg your pardon for my written English🤣. See you.
