So i've been on dates with over 30 people easily (but I'm 39) and not once has a woman expected me to pay, normally we have that argument of who is gonna pay, and I have had a few women who got so frustrated to pay OUR FULL bill... PLEASE do not think all women are your bad experiences, you're a target for the worst people because you're too nice! It's okay to care about yourself more than them, infact you need to, women don't like men who are easy and a push over. They want someone who is like "actually no, I deserve more respect than this" easily said than done, I was cronically shy, stutter, not attractive etc etc but I know I am worth more than that and you are 100% worth more than some predator using you.

Hey, I've watched some of your videos and I feel for you. Many of us went through difficult (sometimes humiliating) things in our teens and twenties; I was called ugly by a guy I liked just because he thought it was funny to see my reaction. And that's just one of the ridiculous things that happened to me in my late teens/early twenties. I am now a few years older than you and I'm married to an amazing man. I think it's important for you (and all of us, really) not to get too hung up on the negative experiences we had as teens and young adults. Focus on the things you value now and look to the future and outward, rather than inward. Building good relationships with people (friendships, family relationships, romantic relationships and friendly relationships with acquaintances) is good for us. You're not ugly. And there's no social skill that cannot be learnt through practice.

Listening t the story, i don't think you're a simp, they were just using you, and you weren't aware of their plan. It happens unfortunately, but now you know you'll be able to spot it a lot easier. Keep the chin up mate

I've been incredibly luck as in I've never been expected to pay for a date.. Not even with the ones who rejected me afterwards.

Mate if you was old fashioned you'd not feel the need to, you'd want to. Now I'm not old fashioned! I'm like "woah this bill is big, splitsville" So, I think you're not seeing the signs of bad people, you're being too nice and giving people WAY too much benifit of the doubt! Though I will say, a girl would rather eat at home alone than go out and have a guy buy nandos. So maybe some interest.
