I believe the monitor route is a little easier, it would be better if this product has it own built in battery and only one cable plus better app with no lag but I see it takes more time than a monitor to setup. It’s the same weight and more work to set up and we always need our phones so I personally am not in favor of this implementation. However it’s a good startup for Accuson, may be the future versions would be way easier to setup and no battery is required.

Hi great video! Was wondering if you could help me. I got the same setup as you do, I got a Sony A7C but I don’t get the video signal on the iPhone, can you share what settings you used on the camera to get it to work?

I really like these products as I have less number of items per set and hence my time saver. i played your full video, video latency is almost negligible but i am sure screen mirror to phone to monitor how is response with apple product or other brand product

I want to record audio too. How do I mute the iPhone mic for this app? I’m getting feedback.

Is it same quality of recording on iPhone as on camera? How to disengage on iPhone recorded video parameters such as aperture, exposition etc? Why is my monitor on Sony A73 always disabled?

Hi there and thank you for your video. I would like to understand better one point before proceed buying this accessory. I don’t care of video recording functionality directly on my phone. I need an external monitor for my Xh2 and I would have the ability to record my footage on my cf express card with my 4k 60fps log settings. This accsoon seemo could do it for me?? Or using it I can only record on my cf express card only in 1080?? I have to clarify this crucial point! So please help me to understand. Thank you for your support!

Thanks for the post. If your camera is capable of recording in 4K, can you record, simultaneously, in 4k with the camera and 1080p to the phone? Cheers, Chuck (NE Florida) : +)

Hi - The Accsoon app won't allow simultaneous recording unfortunately - it is purely just for outputting live video from the camera. But if you just don't use the connection/app, you could set up your phone on a standard cold shoe mount and record 2 videos independently however you like.

The problem Is a field monitor is 100-150 for about he same as this which is (180) also i can use my phone at the same time, what happens when u get a call?

Yes, as long as your camera supports bluetooth connections, then you can!

It’s quite expensive $180. I can buy a monitor for $100 and don’t have to use my iPhone. I need my iPhone for many things.

Yeah I agree - its personal preference really - some people find it more convenient to carry less items when shooting in different locations, and some people will prefer the iPhone 14 screen than the cheaper screens on camera monitors.

Yeah, if I was to record videos in the same place, like inside a studio and wont have to move around a lot, I'd stick with a normal cheaper monitor. But if I travel a fair bit for filming, then I could see this being valuable
