Hmm, interesting device thank you for the review. My old Belkin USB 2.0 with 7-ports just took its last byte. I just need a reliable multi-port hub with HDMI and USB (2.0 & 3.0), but will consider additional types of ports to cover my "wish I had that port too on my hub". I recently purchased a really cool device that converts HDMI to RCA, which saved us money and reprioritized our household budget. There aren't any small TVs on the market that meet our "Kitchen TV Requirements" - the TV with stand must not exceed 17 1/2-inches, so it could fit underneath the cabinet and slide back into the corner. The cool converter device permitted us to use one of our old small Sylvania 15-inch TV (Model # LC155SL8P) LCD HDTV.

Hi, hope you can help me, is there any previos work needed to do with the hub? I am trying to do as you show in your video, but not one of the phones is mirrored to the monitor, mouse is detected though, and get charged.

does dex need to be enabled on the phone prior to damage? my screen is completely smashed just lines. i cant unlock it but can take calls. Buying a cheap monitor tomorrow to plug in my hdmi as its not working with tv. i already have 3 in 1 type c hub with usb hdmi ctype. ive tried everything up till now. just need to unlock the phone.

Can be use with any cellphone? Samsung .Motorola. or LG?

Cool find. The display is great but the main part would need to be able to move around with a mouse or keyboard like you show here. If that doesn't work just looking at the display doesn't help.

Not all phones can be connected this way. Only phones with MHL support can be connected. Samsung Galaxy S series phones support MHL, but other Samsung phones do not support

it works with mose pgones with USB-C to mirror the main screen to a monitor, not only samsung

is it doable if my phone has a pin code? i know it i just dont know if i can put it while connected to the monitor. Many thanks!

I figured it out. The screen wont show on the TV unless the code is in. 5 click the power button while connected. The SOS page will show on TV. With your mouse drag down the notification bar and click on flight mode. It will ask you to input your pin but you'll need to be fast because it will come off the SOS page and image will dissapear again. Got it on my 2nd try and the phone unlocked.

The Belkin I ordered from the link does NOT have the USB-C power in. Why?

you can use it fr a broken screen like a android box some buy make it usb to hdmi cable i done trust it

i did this and everything just like how you showed but it is not letting me get into the phone. it does mirror my phone but only shows a black screen on my monitor with a little lock on the front of it going in circles and i am wondering do i have to unlock my screen first? i cannot unlock my screen because my screen is blacked out from being dropped. i did try hooking up the key board as well and entering the password that way as well but it did not work. can you or someone please give me any advice as to why this is happening to me. i wanted to try and save everything from my phone because the screen is broken. the phone is charged and works i can still receive calls i just dont understand why i cant put in my password so that i can see it on my monitor to my computer. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Most devices work so far at least some i have with usb c.... you can check if your device is MHL equipped here : www.mhltech.org/devices.aspx?tid=1. , it worked with some of my older devices but that definitely depends on the capability of the graphics chip and thw cpu of the device.

Use a mouse-

I picked up an HDMI adapter for my broken phone yesterday and hooked it all up to my TV and I only got a glimmer of phone screen otherwise it shows a blank screen with a floating clock and lock symbol

This is samsung dex only available for samsung phones

DEX is for samsung only but the screen sharing works in almost all phones
