When I bought my fs-i6x people said the supplied cable could only be used to update the firmware, after seeing this I updated the firmware to the latest v10.0.25 2022 and now it works on the sims with the supplied cable. Thank you!

one thing more to mention luckily my radio is working properly with the 2018 version too, with a data cable. i don't know how is it working but the firmware is the factory firmware which came with the radio

Edit. I confirm Flysky FS-i6x works without need to install any driver on Windows 10. First time I made poor connections. But I still don't know why when I connect also 5v pin from usb port . Flysky beep all time because low voltage.

This is helpful, so I am not finding the cable in the box with the transmitter. I am putting that cable on order with Amazon.

i updated it using the firmware in the desc but still no luck with default data cable. It detects an input but it's either a 1 or a 0 based on the gimbal position and obviously doesnt work with sims at all. It did work before with the sm100 cable but that broke (bad quality). ANy idea what to do?

Does this works with RF7 , RF9 ? cuz my out of the box cable works with liftoff fpv and DRL fine but doesn't works with RF7 , RF9....

With Sep 2019 firmware of my i6x, I can simulate with Clearview but there are problems with FPV Freerider Demo version. It actually detects the sticks but I am not able to calibrate the ranges correctly.

i have problem with iflay i6x. after connecting the controller to the pc it is detected correctly. calibration shows normal controller operation. but after the simulator is turned on, you can't even calibrate the sticks

Heyy I have a sep 2020 version updated on my flysky i6x but the bus driver is still showing an error (code 43)

Thanks for this- I can use the cable provided with the I6x, but it is an iffy usb connection in Win 10. Sometimes it is recognized and most of the time it is rejected as a "malfunctioning usb device". Anyone else have this problem or had it and solved it? Thanks!

I just bought the FLYSKY FS-I6X, updated to the latest firmware (1.0.52). Connected to my Mac with the included USB cable and opened Aerofly RC7. The FLYSKY controller is recognized but zero motion on the calibration screen. Is there a necessary model or mode select on the FLYSKY FS-I6X I need to change?

1.upgrade Newest Firmware (14channels) 2. Batterie mod (switch to lipos or li-ion. 2s mod, But the 2 3.3v voltageregulators must be replaced(They only can handle up to 6v,also the resistors of the voltage divider must be changed only linear regulators!!!! No switching ones(They will lower your range). i build also a 5200 mah 2s2p in and also addet usb charging. (i use the X-lite charging board charges 2s lipo and li-ion) pictures are also on my instagram. Never use a Powerbank or something similar becourse you never know how full the Batterie is in flight. A Powerbank can cut the Power whithout any warnings so the drone will Crash. I use the voltage warnings on the tx and unprotected cells. I Risk the cells in the tx,But i Set the low voltage Alarm so i can Fly for over 20 minutes. So i Risk proberly nothing. 4.Antenna mod (i dont need this and I didnt Do it.) 5. Gimbal mod 6.custom pictures (like the Helikopter can be changed to a Drohne.) 7 switch mod (2pos switch to 3pos switch) ....

I've got the FS 16X with feb 2022 V1 firmware and it won't link with my PC for a simulator using the supplied cable. Just saying.

I use the fs i6 whith a flightcontroller and resiver (basicly my Drohne) Set as a Simulatorcable. But i also had the Simulatorcable, But i dont like it, wireless is better and there are no extra cost, only a Single betaflight cli setting. Also there is no Risk to burning the vtx becourse only the resiver and the flightcontroller are Powered up by usb.

Idk if you haven’t figured it out yet but you can check it in functions setup in throttle hold.

do you have a link somewhere for the 2019 firmware? currently with the 2022 firmware. moving 1 axis is moving multiple axis. there is no way i can bind this to controls to fly a simulator. throttling up is like i am also pushing on the other rods.

nvm found out the issue. the model type matters. when it's on airplane mode all the axis are sepperated. but when it's on heli mode. the swashplate matters. it's controlling all those servo's

I have an FS-i6X with September 2019 firmware (like you). When I connect it to Windows 10 and turn it on, I get a USB device not recognized.I am using the cable supplied by FlySky. Any thoughts?

Similar problem for me. I don't get any notice at all, and my Phoenix sim software says USB device not detected. Did you ever resolve this?

My Fsi6s TRIM function for left stick (throttle and yaw) is not working anymore after updating to this firmware! anyone experience this? Right stick is ok and I can still trim it

Strange. I have not encountered that. Does the problem go away if you flash an older firmware?

On the fly sky website it says the firmware is a virus so I googled it and it actually said that it was a Trojan type Date of me writing this 18/4/24

I've used Liftoff, DRL, Velocidrone, FPVFreerider, and right now I'm playing with Tryp. All will get the job done, some are expensive, some look better, some run smoother.

Every source of the EXE file is marking it as a virus and won't allow me to download it.
