Use AI to sound like your favorite artist in Ableton Live 12

Музыка

Here's how you can sounds like your favourite musicians and producers using AI in Ableton Live 12.
Ableton Live 12 has a new feature known as sound similarity search which uses a neural network to identify similar sounds and suggest them to you.
You can take advantage of this by isolating specific sounds and samples, consolidating them, and then finding similar sounds in your library.
It's a great way to find samples you may not have thought of to get you closer to sounding like your favourite artist.

I think it's because for a certain type of creative using any type of shortcut is like using a cheat code in a video game to beat the game and claiming you did it all by yourself. That's what I assume because at first glance that's what I was thinking too since I'm completely against AI in any type of art, but seeing how it's integrated here it looks like a simple search tool. Pretty cool how Ableton was able to Integrate it. Still my stubborn brain says it's cheating and would rather spend hours looking for/recreating a sound when I could've used this to cut it down to minutes. 😅
