Really smart move by USC front office to put LBSU in this small, crowded, loud gym; made them feel out of sorts, not like themselves. Credit to the organization, and definitely credit to the USC boys for playing out of their mind good.

Anthony Devantier wasn’t really the front office’s move per say, Kid’s Choice Awards was taking place in the Galen Center that same night, so it was either reschedule or cancel the match, which I’m sure neither team wanted to deal with. That small mishap worked to SC’s advantage in the end, but nonetheless they played amazing volleyball that night as well

it will be nice to see these two teams meet again in the NCAA rounds in a mutual place. :-) Meanwhile, go Hawaii Warriors! I hope this is their year!

No, because something important was happening in Galen Center. This is I think is their practice gym.

No, sorry. It wasn't til the 2nd set that I realized there was no legit camera crew on sight. So I figured I'd do the service of capturing the 3rd set. Thanks for watching.

Is this the gym that USC practices in? Man, that's sad. How do they ever share the floor when they only have one court?

As far as I know, they ended up hosting the match in that gym because the Galen Center (where they normally play) was being used for another big event that night (I think it was Nickelodeon's Teen Choice Awards).

Yeah, Long Beach went from sweeping to being swept.

LBSU outside hitter (#2) is really bad. Can't pass and blocked a lot of times. Also the middles are not really efficient.

Perhaps they had a bad game. It happens, but I wouldn't call them "really bad" or "not efficient" based on one set.

@@chicken6111 i never call or say any team or starters bad. Just shocked that #1 team got swept by USC of all schools, which is rare...lol Btw, u said "lost based on one set" but they got swept.
