If the CFP existed SC would’ve won 02, 03, 04, 06, 07, 08. Realistically dam well should’ve won in 05 vs Texas. The BCS always found ways to leave SC out of the National Title game knowing full well they would beat whoever was on the other side.

The top teams in the Big 10 was so garbage in the Pete Carroll error. They were slow as hell and that's why I hate that used to let USC play in that Rose Bowl because all the athletic team such as Florida LSU Georgia-Florida state had a bunch of athletic Brothers on those teams and those teams will beat up on each other why are USC had an easy path how to play slow Big 10 teams yeah they beat Oklahoma but everybody was being Oklahoma it's just when USC beat Oklahoma the media made a big deal out of it. Yeah they beat Arkansas in Auburn but LSU beat many Pac 10 teams as well matter fact LSU played a conference champion pac-10 Oregon teen and blew them out. The reason why Pete Carroll dominated the Pac-12 because it wasn't no big-time coaches in the Pac-12 until Hardball and Chip Kelly got there. When you look at the SEC in the early 2000s you had about five coaches that had one national championships and majority of athletic players especially the black ones are in southern states such as Florida Louisiana Georgia Texas. Don't nobody go to the West Coast to recruit defensive lineman or should I say athletic defensive lineman LOL like really when was the last time somebody was fighting for recruits in Arizona or Oregon. Ain't no brothers in them state. Since USC is a private school and they can accept anybody who they want . So if I have all the team with all the athletic Brothers while the conference is an academic conference. So USC was not playing the Ray Ray's and Pookie's take Florida or LSU out the SEC and let them play in the Pac-10 they would have been undefeated as well.

USC would have beaten all those teams. Not only did they have dynamic offenses but Pete Carroll always had the best defenses in all of college football (NFL too) specifically this 2008 team. Taylor Mays, Brian Cushing, Rey Maualuga, and Clay Matthews Jr. flying all over the place. You act like USC was scheduling cupcakes. They always played Big 10, SEC, and ACC opponents during that span through the 00's. They couldn't help they played in a weaker Pac but they still made up for it at the end of each season beating some of the best from other conferences. California is a mecca for football. We might not have all the meat like the South but we sure do have a whole lot of other positional players. USC has had it's share of great defensive players throughout history that are homegrown too. The best of the best HS players always want to play for a brand school all over the nation and USC has always been the one out West. There's been debate of USC going independent like Notre Dame because we keep getting disrespected due to the conference we play in.

St. 69-0, Washington 56-0, California 17-3, Stanford 45-23, Notre Dame 38-3, UCLA, 28-7, and was beating Penn St. in the Rosebowl by 30 at Halftime, when Pete Carroll took everybody out... in the 2nd Half! F _ _ cking hick-up against Oreg. St and the Rogers brothers cost them the NC... if playoffs were in back then, USC would of took it!
