So great to watch this again after all these years... Those were some of the best days to watch SC for sure...

That USC defense was loaded. Clay Matthews, Brian Cushing, Ray Maueluga, Jurell Casey, Everson Griffen, Taylor Mays and others. It's why they had the #1 defense that year.

Man, I watched this game with 10 buddies (4 SC alum that are actually cool), hammered at one of their houses. Was awesome. Mauluaga, Cushing, Maiva and Matthews. Has to be best LB corp in college history. They had Keith Rivers instead of Maiva the year before lol

It's 2023 time flies. I remember watching this as a kid with my family and...wasn't too fun...I must say being an OSU fan. But..2008 gators vs 2008 USC that defense. Vs Tim Tebow. I'd pick usc all day.

Honestly this was such a wild tailgate Ohio State fans showed up big-time honestly I have a Lotta respect for Ohio State after this game as a kid growing up I remember I was selling five dollar USC T-shirts made a killing it was such a good game such a good vibe such a great tailgate FIGHT ON ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼

This team had the #1 Defense in the Nation. Pitched 3 shutouts and held opponents to an average 9 points. The offense was good too.

The culture around the university was just so much different back then. Damn I miss this era of USC football.

That team should've won the National Championship that year. That Oregon State loss hurt their ranking in the BCS. If they played Florida or Oklahoma, USC would have destroyed them both

It actually happened 4 times: 2002 and 2003 USC vs Auburn. 2005 and 2006 USC vs Arkansas. All were USC wins, including 2 road wins. Carroll was 4-0 vs the SEC during his tenure.

Not sure if this blow out or the game in the following season winning at the last minute is my favorite.

It was difficult to earn buckeye leaves for your helmet back then. Now it’s been cheapened

If it wasn’t for two stupid Thursday night Pac-12 at night losses - USC would of won 4 in a row.

Nah cause we were by far the best team in the nation still. The same way they let the SEC in the playoffs without winning their conference is what should have happened here.

Too bad they didn't bother showing up against the other OSU

I paid $320 for a ticket and got hammered at a tailgate on campus. Worth every penny!
