The way the European style/international ball is played is how bball is played now with shooting. passing, pick and roll movement. But back in 2000s the US was still behind with the 90s one on one, post up style. Now evrybody can shoot threes just like these international teams. If the US had played the international style they would have been blowing out teams like the Dream Team.

The dream team competition in the 92 era wasn't anything like it is in 06 or now . The international teams in the 90s weren't very solid

@@baller123811 That is true. But with the US talent they should be blowing out teams more than they should have. There is an inefficiency in the way they play because they of their style of one on one. If they adopt a more Euro style of play they would be unbeatable.

If the US played the same style Argentina played, with their talent, they would be destroying teams by 30 ppg. Im sure of it. The way the US plays is inefficient with the talent that they have.

@@manuelmaq con ese criterio nunca se pudo haber ganado en 2002 ni 2004. Son casos diferentes, Wolko si era un suplente de poco uso... No es el caso de Delfino, Hermann era una bestia que en su primer temporada acb fue el goleador, lamentablemente tuvo una tragedia familiar que no pudo no haberlo afectado, Pepe también fue recontra suplente pero fue uno de los mejores bases que tuvo la selección, Prigioni es rookie más veterano de la historia de la liga y eso no es casualidad, calidad tenía. Lo que cambió respecta a las 2 victorias anteriores es que en este partido el equipo USA aumentó su calidad y tomo el partido como revancha y por nuestro lado nunca más volvimos a ver el nivel que mostró la selección en 2002, incluso cuando ganaron el oro en Atenas.

@@matiasarielgonzalez4326 yo no digo que no sean grandes jugadores ni que no haya sido una hazaña la de 2004, pero ese equipo usa tenia 23,8 años de edad promedio, es el dream team mas joven de la historia, 8 de 12 eran rookies o segundo año solo 3 o 4 experimentados llevaron. El 2006 y 2008 ya eran equipos muy superiores y argentina solo tiene un jugador de elite que es manu, despues esta scola que es muy bueno, el resto son jugadores buenos con coraje pero que apenas les alcanzaba para ser titular, el unico que fue titular del resto fue una temporada de nocioni en los bulls, sino fijate los minutos que promediaban nocioni y delfino por partido nunca mas de 23 min, eran de rotacion.

@@manuelmaq entonces como explicas las hazañas del mundial y los JJOO? No estoy de acuerdo con tu concepto de élite. Todos los jugadores de la plantilla lo son porque son profesionales (si están más abajo los que juegan en la Liga) y si bien en 2006 todavía la balanza se inclinaba hacia la NBA, hoy la mitad de los equipos de Euroliga podrían competir en la NBA. A mi entender, fue la sumatoria de los factores que te dí antes lo que hizo la diferencia. Si queres podes agregar que este Team USA fue de los más talentosos después de la era de MJ y cia.

@@bora8100 Yes, I know. USA-Greece was one of the best FIBA games ever. Argentina could win against Spain, but their last second and last chance to win was too terrible. Manu Ginobili blew it.

If you see this usa team compare to the 2004 usa team. This team is more athletic and driven... if they were to play in 2004 olympic they would easily won.

ギリシャは徹底したローテンポの バスケと守り合いの展開に持ち込んでアメリカのリズムを崩して 勝つことができた。 アルゼンチンはシュートが好調 だったためか、アップテンポ なバスケに走ってしまい、 逆にアメリカが好きなやり方で 試合をしてしまった。 あと、スペイン戦のモヤモヤも あってあんまりモチベーションが 上がらない状態になってしまって いたからかな？
