    I enjoyed watching your entire video. I'm going to Bryce Canyon in May, so it was interesting to see the different walks you went on. I will include them in our visit now. I've been to Zion but saw a walk I have never been on. I wanted to get to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon so now I saw it through your eyes. I always find your videos fun and informative. Thanks!

I didn't spend much time at either though as I spent more time up at Arches National Park as well as down in Sedona. My wife and I just finished our winter holiday in USA (we're Australian) and went to all the national parks you went to. We hired a Jeep Wrangler and absolutely loved the road trip. We also loved the winter and snow which meant less hikers and traffic. Of note, I found it really odd that the hotel rooms didn't have normal lights but only lamps. We did Bryce in early Feb and the spikes were definitely needed. The snow was much more serious than when you were there.

    Hi Je -- yeah.. it's these kind of old.. middle of the country middle of the road hotels that just have lamps. Newer and nicer hotels in the USA generally have more lighting. But indeed.. many US hotels from the 1980s are just dark inside

    Fantastic video. I’ve been wanting to do this exact trip and this video is hugely helpful. We did a two week trip from Vegas and hit Death Valley, Kings Canyon, Sequoia, Yosemite and Redwoods before ending in San Francisco. Best thing we did was buy a cooler at an outfitter shop and fill it with sandwich stuff and other snacks to make lunches and snacks to avoid the crappy overpriced food you’re stuck with at so many national park restaurants.

    Chris, I’m not being facetious when I say that it takes a whole different level of enthusiasm to be able to travel alone, like you do sometimes, and remain so upbeat and animated about one’s adventures. You’re a natural born adventurer, my friend. 🎉👏🏻 On a different note, I really love these national parks, but my experience with the Sky Walk, in particular, was a total disaster; mostly due to the overtly commercial exploration of the area by the native American tribe. At the time of my visit the place was absolutely jam-packed with people, the lines were horribly long, and the folks in charge, and others working there, especially the photographers, were treating the visitors with utter disrespect.

  • @YellowProductions

    @YellowProductions

    Thanks NothingMaster.. and yeah. Your experience at the Skywalk I understand... they totally snapped at me for video taping the lockers.. they need to take some customer Disney type customer service training

  • @NothingMaster

    @NothingMaster

    3 ай бұрын

    @@YellowProductions Couldn’t agree more, Chris. They need some serious Disney level training, cause as it stands they’re ruining everyone’s vacation. Could you believe it, they literally frisked everybody in their private parts and orifices (I kid you not) to make sure they weren’t carrying cellphones!!! And the photographers practically pushed anyone who didn’t want to take a picture off the Skywalk platform. BASICALLY, THEY ALL WENT OUT OF THEIR WAYS TO SUBJECT PEOPLE TO THE NASTIEST POSSIBLE TREATMENT IMAGINABLE !!!

    This was just amazing! Loved all the content, especially the hike in Bryce, as we went in the summer and it was too hot and too crowded and we didn't go far, the contrast of the snow was so much prettier than summertime! Also ending with the celebration on New Year's Eve was icing on the cake. I thought your info and what you showed, as well as your both interesting and amusing narration, was top notch and could have kept watching regardless of how long it may have gone on! = D Do more for sure!

    Hi Chris. Great road trip video of Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion Perk. Appreciate all the time and effort you put into creating a very informative video. I did a road trip to Zion from Vegas and it wasn't enough time to do some serious exploring. Next time I would like to do Zion and Bryce together. And now I have a very useful tool to help me plan that trip. Thanks again for sharing and take care.

    Great Content Chris! We did Bryce and Zion last year on a stop off on our way home from Hawaii it was a long day but well worth the 3 hour each way coach trip. I did the Grand Canyon by helicopter back in 2007 but never by car/coach so might do that with the wife next time I visit Vegas.

    Hey Chris, I was the guy who mentioned how quiet it was on Black Birch Canyon(you can see me in the background at 53:08 😅). I was also stuck in that traffic jam earlier. I took a day trip from Zion. I even ate dinner at the same restaurant. It's so cool to see all the other adventures you went on that day and week.
