They got knocked out via penalties. That match ended 0-0, so it technically and for all stats counts as a draw

What is it with U.S. Soccer as a whole celebrating beating inferior competition and parading around like they’re about to win the World Cup? This is why U.S. Soccer has lost its edge and hasn’t improved in over a decade. It’s pathetic we have the widest variety of talent in the world and facilities. It’s shameful we are behind in any sport globally.
