It wasn’t a normal Wrexham team - the striker Trundell was 46. The game was 7 a-side and only 20 minutes each half. 11 on 11 against the real Wrexham over 90 mins would be 30 or 40 to nil.

In Brazil the national women team played against a local under 16 boys team for practice, and the boys were 7x0 when they decided to stop the match… And I still don’t know how it was even a surprise to many people. In this match you clearly see the men being gentle and holding back, not being even close to regular physical contact on their game just to no hurt the girls.

I once had a friendly against Lyon women, the best team on the continent with 8 UEFA champion titles (think Real Madrid for women). It was behind closed door training game at the Gerland stadium. We won 4-0 without trying, the coach made a lot of changes at half time and kind of instructed us to take it easy the next 45'. We were 17y old at the time. I would very seriously estimate the best pro female soccer teams to be around the level of 13y old boys playing in the national league ("Benjamin" or "Minimes" categories as well call it here) I suspect those little guys could even win a championship amongst the pro women's league by the end of the season as they turn 14.

The men and boys are football enthusiasts and that is why they play the game, and because of that, they practice even if it is just playing around on a Sunday afternoon. Men definitely have physical advantages and the activists who deny this are just insane. When I was around 14 doing martial arts there was a lady who joined, maybe in her early 30s, and she would always try to kick us very hard during sparring sessions. She would put her full hip into a turning kick, absolutely no attempt to pull it. Even with foot guards that packs a wallop. The point of that sort of sparring was to score a hit rather than knockout your opponent. Anyway one day I got sick and tired of this so me and a few other young lads decided to give it back. She had to quit halfway through the lesson, complained to the instructor about how much force we used and we didn't see her again. The instructor told us he saw what she had been doing, had already told her to use less force and so when he saw us giving it back he just let it happen lol. The thing is, we didn't even go full on, I was still pulling it slightly because I didn't want to actually harm her. Even as 14 year old boys we could take more impact and give out more force than most women.

@@philmckenna5709 She just got what she had been trying to hand out. I think she had a problem with men, although I noticed she didn't do this to the adult men in the class. It was only the boys she would try it with. I think she knew an adult man would quickly raise the issue but boys are less likely to think they should say something. I bet she didn't learn anything from the situation. She probably went and found another class where she could do the same thing. I imagine in todays world she would try and sue the instructor or create a social media campaign about the violence of men against women. Making sure to skip over her own attempts to kick young kids as hard as she could. The bitch didn't even hold back when fighting the 8 to 12 year olds. They were usually separate but sometimes we would have them join the adults and older members for some fun sparring and to make them feel like a real part of the club and not just the kiddy class. Everyone would hold back obviously but she just ploughed kicks into them. I don't remember a single boy complaining despite the fact it must have hurt even with pads. I think that was when the instructor must have had a word with her as he definitely noticed. If that happened today I would kick her with everything I had and claim I slipped.

Most of the Wrexham players were retired, including Lee Trundle. To be fair, so were most of the women. Their keeper is only 19, I believe and she actually played quite well. She pulled off some fantastic double saves and received pats on the back from the Wrexham players. If they'd put a retired player, even Hope Solo, in goal then the score could well have been 30-0.

@@josephberrie9550 No. You've got your information from channels with an ulterior motive. The rules of this tournament were weird but interesting. It was actually 11-0 at the end of normal time. They then used that as the "target score" for a period of extra time. I don't know if there was a time limit to the extra time but the aim was that the team that was losing had to then beat that score, but if the winning team scored again, the game was over. So Wrexham scored their last goal during that period of extra time. To show you how that worked, in one game, Wrexham "lost" 2-0 in regular time. So in extra time they had to score 3 times to win and shut the other team out. They did and so won the game. It was a really weird format I hadn't seen in almost 50 years of watching the game. Trust the Americans to try to spice things up in odd ways.

Wrexham beat Say Word FC 8-1 too, but they played a lot harder against Say Word than they did against the women. Say Word FC themselves beat the women 5-0, and were fairly dominant in that game. So, Wrexham had to up their competitiveness significantly to beat Say Word 8-1. The women lost 5-0 to Say Word FC, lost 12-0 to Wrexham, and 7-1 to FC Como. Say Word were one of the weakest men's teams, and lost heavily against the other men's teams in their group. Wrexham were eliminated in the round of 16 immediately after the 3 group stage matches.

Well, I'd say that depends on two relevant potential factors. Ability and/or monetizable interest. So if women were on par with men at some kind of activity, then they certain deserve anything men would get and if they are superior, then probably more. Also, pay for play also depends on how monetizable the presentation of the activity is. Conceivably the WNBA could be more popular, more valuable and more profitable than the NBA. All it would take is people deciding that they liked it more. Maybe they would have to change the rules or whatever, but men's college basketball is very popular and those players aren't nearly as good as players in the NBA. If for some reason the quality of play of the WNBA was the same and there was just way more interest and money spent by the public on it, they those women would very likely be paid more. I don't think saying the reason women in sports are paid less is inherently because they are female its just that from a skill and ability standpoint in sports, men are almost universally better and thus there is more interest in the greater talent level than the lower. So it's actually the skill level and the popularity that are the issue first and foremost and those might be because of sex in specific circumstances. But again, all it takes is popularity and willingness of masses to spend money on something for it to be valuable to play in not whether you are a man or woman.

Those kids were under 10 yrs old and they could do all the tricks the greats did, the Cruyff turn, the Maridona shuffle, the Gascoin flick and even the Ronaldinho flick. They did it against thier fathers who were at least twice their size. I would pit those kids against any top class female team regardless of the kids gender, simply because they have had the advantage of the training. The US keeper in this match was by far the best female on the pitch as recognised by the mens team. There is no shame for the women losing by however many, it simply displays the difference twixt male and female sport at adult level and cements the fact that transgender females have an advantage they do not deserve.

But, when you select for the best men playing the best women, the advantage men have is through the roof! Women's sports are not popular when strength and speed are the main factors. The women's sports that are successful are ones that emphasize grace and skill are popular, like figure skating, tennis, golf, and gymnastics do well because of that, and because the women are in small and tight outfits that are flattering to their bodies as they move. Beach volleyball would have no financial success, if the women wore sweatsuits instead of bikinis.

  • @Muckylittleme

The game was less than 1/4 the length of a normal game and played on a smaller field and with smaller goals (Theoretically making it harder to score) Wrexham were not even in the football league tier system until last season when they won promotion to league 2 which is the fourth tier of professional English football. The Wrexham "team" that played this game were made up of older retired players and reserve team and youth team players so nothing like the best even Wrexham have to offer and they were playing kindly and not using physicality. To put it into perspective the team that beat he women 12-0 would lose heavily to Wrexham's first team. But it is not as if there is not history to avoid this sort of thing. The US women as world champions played a non professional under 15 boys soccer team (Dallas FC) which with its full men's team would be crushed by even lower tier English teams and they still lost easily while world champions Australia women were beaten 7-o by an under 15 boys team. I think most women understand the biological differences between the sexes, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Make a sport out of childbirth for example and see the men suffer! Women are maternal and nurturing by nature, they have not evolved to hunt dangerous animals as the males did. but what is so funny about it is that contemporary feminists spend all their time being misandrists and saying how toxic masculinity is and blaming men for everything ,all while pretending women have those same attributes as men and are equal in every way etc, but for a woman these attributes so hated in men are "empowering" This is not only hypocritically sexist and delusional, it is downright dangerous because we are beginning to see young women believe the Hollywood propaganda and physically attack men or think they can handle men physically and so put themselves in dangerous situations. because they feel invulnerable. And then there is the whole can of worms of men identifying as females and breaking records easily that women had to work their whole life toward. And for the final act of 3rd wave feminist and leftist misogyny we now have men identifying as women punching women in the face for sport. We really have a fallen a long way from the values and morality that made western society the pinnacle of human civilisation. Thank God there are more and more women and young people who are seeing through this nefarious identity politics for what it is, social engineering the family out of existence and making the regime your parent and God.

Tbh it would be more like retired G League basketball players representing the team not the best retired players in the world

Worth noting, Wrexham just got to league 2 which is actually the 4th tier in England and they only just got there, last year they were non league and amateur. Also Trundle shown at the start is 46 years old and got 3 goals, and in his prime he was never top flight or international

It's worth noticing many of the women where not playing top level anymore and many had never played national team. The game was part of a tournement "for fun". There was a price of 1 mio to the winner team out of about 30 teams.

It's also worth noting that many of the men were not playing lower league level anymore, that all of the players on the women's team had supposedly played at a much higher level in women's football than all of the guys had in the men's game, and that the guys were holding back a lot by not shooting with power, not making physical challenges, and not playing with any competitive aggression.

@@sebfox2194 Oh jeez, just have the men's national team play the women's national team and settle this debate already.

As football player, I could tell the men's team is neither closed to their 100%. And I also read the game was 40 minutes while the "real" games are 90 minutes

Love the little toy 7-aside pitch. Looked effortless for Wrexham.

If its the boys team in blue and the girls in white, its Actas v Ais , both teams are students at the same uni. But go find the clip. I'd love to see it :)

Having only seen the highlights for the game I would be interested in seeing how the mens team tackled the women team when they were in possession of the ball, because I would be sure that there were no crunching tackles on the female players. The men were playing like it was a training session where there were no stakes. You can see how they "celebrate " scoring by looking embarrassed. The truth is it could have been a lot worse if it wasn't for the goalkeeper. I have a question though because with the highlights we didn't see the women's team with an attempt at goal. So my question is did they get a shot against the goal that made the male keeper feel that he was needed at all in this demolition?

It was a 7v7 Tournament , the women lost every game they played , had fewer total shots on goal for the entire tourney than Wrexham had goals against them and the only goal they scored in the entire tourney was against a mixed team that was half women .
