​@@user-jm4su2ud5t if you took the time to actually pay attention to detail before posting your genuinely stupid comment you'd probably notice that i was simply mocking the misleading video title. Iran wasn't shocked at all because.... A) just like every other nation more advanced than a remote jungle tribe they already know exactly what the b52 can do. So it would come as no suprise to them that it can actually drop bombs. B) it's very likely that b52's with the super awesome sons of uncle sam at the controls didn't blitz a rebel convoy recently. Especially when smaller strike jets already stationed in the region can respond to a moving target like a convoy much quicker. And who are these rebels anyway? And while you're busy fondling american pilots right now i should probably point something out. While american pilots are insanely good at what they do their skill set is actually on par with just about every other foreign air crew in nato. Because they all train together and learn from each other. Infact the tactical leadership program in 2018, 2019 and 2020 named greek pilots as being the best in nato.

YES ....but designed and built from 1955. Let's just agree that the fundamental design has been obsolete for a very long time. EIGHT engines, completely obsolete, belching a lot of exhaust .....unburnt fuel. Considering today's global climate ....with madmen in Russia, North Korea ..... Well-past time for something up-to-date if there aren't enough ground-systems surrounding Russia and North Korea .... .

@@taxicamel yes, it's wicked old in just about every way but still able to deliver a payload of bombs. when i was in the airforce over 50 years ago one of our missions was ground to air communications for some of the things over europe. definitely obsolete like you say.

They're stationed @ Barksdale Airforce Base Bossier City,La I think there's only 2 52 bases left of course this being 1 of the 2&only like 45minute drive down the i20 from my home&I went there for the Army for MEPS in 1992.

Well i have a pilots license. I always take off at full throttle. I did not know the us military launches aircraft at half throttle. So i guess this full throttle thing is pretty special for them.
