    These sessions are amazing and very inspirational. They motivate me and show me what I might be able to achieve one day. Just for info, I'm now up to 160 6 cts and 65 navy seals. I'm fitter, leaner, lighter and more agile than I ever have been in my entire life. The BDP encouraged me to make a significant lifestyle changes in diet and exercise and have dropped 56 pounds in weight and have gone from 31% body fat to 19% body fat. Still on the weight loss journey but the BDP has changed my life and am excited to see what I can achieve in 2023.

    Suggestion: You should breakdown in the description of what you did. Like sets of 15, 10sec rest until about 160, then you did 20 sec rest then 13 reps, then 12 reps with 20sec rest, etc. Would make it easier to see where you start to gas out and where to push next time. Also easier to see how you pace it to get to 250 or 275, etc.

    Superb as usual Max, both of you. Seriously impressive numbers. I hate 6 counts the most. Although, i would say the athlete had an easier time (arguably) as he wasn't counting it out, you were. Whilst it can help your breathing counting and keeping you present in the moment. I find it easier not counting so I gone back and lowered my numbers to include the count. 6 counts are my nemesis. So happy to hear you say at end its never an easy sesh. I struggle with them. Although I'm doing your method of sets of 25, sometimes 15 with the count. Trying to get that 200 in. 176 is my best so far. The grind is the beautiful struggle.

    Max, the collab videos you're doing have you counting and the others doing no counts... If I was Nate I'd want to count too, so I was really testing in to the program and setting myself up for the long journey of this beautiful program 💪 don't sell the program short of what it really is 😃

    This is true as we know the counting adds that extra bit of intensity and I know for some can make a massive difference on the numbers especially with the 10CNS 🫡

    I recently started your program. Which of the levels do you think is good to stay at for maintenance--I'm assuming it's not realistic to be at level 4 indefinitely?

  • @busydadtraining

    @busydadtraining

    Жыл бұрын

    Good question! I would say just try to complete the program first and then think about maintenance. Keep climbing until you can't climb any more, and that's where you should set maintenance. Where that point is will differ for each of us

    @@busydadtraining I noticed you trying to mobilise/stretch it early on in that session. Then you did another 250 haha!! You have to watch that ego Max. I imagine training with the US athlete didn’t help. You probably didn’t want to stop with him there!! Just to let you know I’ve been following you for about a month now and I’ve added your regimes to my training. Just completed level 2. Im a 50 year old PE teacher who now competes at HYROX events. I think want you’re doing with the channel is outstanding. Your enthusiasm and energy is addictive. I hope the pec isn’t too bad and you can return ASAP.
