@E Mad I am not russian. I am not doing any politics here. This drones operates on Black Sea 50.000 feet altitude. Su 27 design altitude is 27.000 feet. So, that pilot hit drone (note that: a few inch of miscalculation can cause major damage to jet also) on 50.000 feet. MQ-9 max speed is 480km/h. SU-27 is a supersonic fighter jet, so you just can't navigate that kind of jet with low speed easily. It is like driving ferrari with 340km/h and trying to touch Smart's side mirror, which has a speed of 60km/h. I am Azerbaijani, and I have no chance to like russians. But that pilot has some serious skills, man.

To me this looks like this pilot have great skills.

Not only the but there’s a drone replacing the SR-71 a drone replacing the B2 bomber and Boeing is currently designing a drone refueling craft for both land and sea operations. They don’t have to keep drones secret because they are drones and can be mast produced without losing a single human life on the drones end. Not the receiving end.

I think that's actually due to angle of the light on the blades, at the beginning the face we see is towards the sun and then afterwards I think the sun is to the back. If you look really close at the prop blade thats unbent, you can vaguely see the lines

Outstanding skill by the Russian Pilots. I think that was Americas favourite drone for bombing weddings.

There's a reason why every top airforce in the world have college degrees requirements to be a fighter pilot.

Not necessarily. I teach satellite communications. If you look at the makeup of the MQ-9 there is an upward-pointing antenna dish that is most likely used to communicate with military satellites to relay both commands and real-time video feeds. This is gimbaled to allow some degree of freedom, however, a strike from the SU-27 could easily cause it to have to reacquire the satellite(s). Depending on the severity of the impact, the MQ9 would have had to reorient itself first, and I’m guessing the flight control surfaces were pretty damaged.

What happened to the double yellow marking on the propeller? why does the second drone video not have the yellow propeller striping like the first drone.... How many drones are they showing us?

Anyone else notice the first shot of the drone propeller clearly had yellow lines on the tips but when the Russian plane hit the propeller it knocked the paint off?

Nice! I found someone in the comments with eyes working with their brain.. 0:13 rounded prop end with yellow stripes, 0:31 flat prop end and no stripes. We are being lied to.

Coz it never hit, it was more likely the weight of the fuel at that speed hitting the prop

The propeller has been twisted out of shape by the collision so the fixed camera can’t see the yellow markings.
