US Army Using Its Best Armor - Combined Live-Fire Exercise

U.S. Army Soldiers,116 Brigade Engineer Battalion, conduct a combined live-fire training exercise at the National Training Center (NTC), Fort Irwin, California, utilizing their M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tanks, M1150 "The Shredder" Clearing Vehicle(equipped with a plough and line charges), and M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle. Female tank platoon leader communicates with her teams over the radio as the Armor fire on simulated targets.
NTC is a month-long rotation that provides more than 4,000 service members from 31 states, including units from 13 National Guard states and territories, with realistic training to enhances their skills and builds Unit and Soldier proficiency to provide commanders with a well trained and ready force.

It’s called a MICLIC - mine clearing line charge. Is 100m rope made of composition B(c4) explosives that clears a 14m lane across and 100m long

I don't see why you should give them credit considering the fact that they lowered the standards so that women could join. Lowering standards so that a particular gender or race should be included doesn't deserve respect.

bulldozer is the best MBT
One way to stop these oncoming drones is to drop a metal net onto it. If that stops the propellers it can't fly. Or have a drone spray sticky stuff on it that turns into a fire on it.

As most shooters will attest, the weapon must be held level to accurately adjust for the immediate effects of gravity on the round as it exits the barrel. I can see how the stabilized barrels on the Abrams and others stabilize the vertical plane in pitch but is there compensation in roll and yaw also?

what exactly are you asking? if you are asking if the stabilizer on the gun compensates for the shakiness of the movement of the tank (ie left and right movement on the sight) then yes, the stabilizer is two-plane, meaning it handles both vertical and horizontal stabilization. if youre not asking that, then please clarify

@@ppatingg yes, stabilized for both pitch and roll. I would expect that what cannot be compensated mechanically that an adjustment in the sight picture/aim point is done electronically.

Trust me I'm in the army and u are blessed you don't have to join. It's horrible. Too many suicided and horrible leadership. And a lot of the suicides here come from the leadership (people in charge of you) because they are so horrible towards the lower ranked soldiers
