Probably. But he can't go full time, because majority of his viewer base is the standard spikes. It he panders to us Timmy's in the comments he loses a lot of clicks

It's cos standard UW control is relatively uninspired because Wizards is experiencjng a brain drain, whether voluntary or not

I was really skeptical of Urza's HB viability. You've convinced me!

These historic brawl videos are by far my favorite videos. I watch most of the standard videos, but these are the ones I always look forward to the most.

River's Rebuke is such a satisfying card on a big board. My favorite thing to do is to cast it with leyline of anticipation, on my opponent's turn, after they've unloaded their hand. Just such a fun "pick it all up!" moment

CGB is literally the best youtuber on the site-daily, consistent high quality videos that are just straight up good. So sick.

For anyone wondering : in the last game metamorph would have entered the battlefield as a copy of Urza because copy effects are on first layer, and apply before any other effect (like witness protection).

8:30 It makes it very clear when the student cost is paid, but not so clear when it isn't paid, because it doesn't say one way or the other. But for future reference, you can tell that student cost is paid because it'll say "Student Cost Paid" in blue text at the top of the card's text box.

I can't believe people complain about the paradox engine. I say play it until they ban it. Also, I don't see anyone complaining about sundering titan, that card is banned in commander and no words of it otherwise.

If I might recommend Mimic as an underappreciated 2 drop mana source. One time use, yes, but it has come through for me many times in past.

Ouch, just went 0-8 with this deck. Granted I was on the draw in 6 of those games which is typical but I can’t see how it’s S-tier. Keep up the brawl content tho. Good stuff.

Cause CGB doesn’t draft. Sometimes he does like with colabs with mtgnerdgirl but that’s mostly a content thing I think.

He doesn't play Draft at all, neither Best of 3. For Draft / Limited check out the Nizzahon channel; he may not be be best player in skill level but his analysis of the set and the Draft is the best one you can find on KZread. You can see tons of people thanking in comments for learning to draft through him (myself included, I would not have a collection to play Constructed the size I have if it wasn't for that).

It’s not banned in this format and is strong. Until it’s banned it’s smart to put it in your deck if you like winning. That’s a good reason to ban it by the way but until then 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's just that paradox engine wins are boring to watch... So when watching you, it's not good content. Sure it's a good wincon but god is it repetitive when the deck is built around it.

CGB stop fighting your inner instinct, your not a control mage bud. (Day 4, likely last, of reminding CGB hes really the aggro guy)

Don't listen to the Paradox Engine naysayers. It's my favourite card in all Magic 🤍💙
