Exploring Abandoned Danger House in the snow...
Built in the mid to late 1800s, this abandoned farm house sits vacant, rotting away on 200 acres of land. The house has been vacant for over 10 years. You can see the amount of decay this once beautiful house is going through. I called it the danger house because it is about to fall in on itself. There are many holes in the floor and roof. The outside elements have caused a lot of damaged to the interior wood. This house is close to a major roadway which is supposed to be expanded many years ago. Not sure if this was the cause for it being vacated, but it sure is sad to see any type of home ends its life like this. Hope you enjoy.

I can never understand how someone can let such a beautiful place go to waste.

Tracey Krueger yes I think the same when it comes to the neocons and the DNC letting our once great country go to waste. Selling us out to the globalist parasitic Zionist and insane technocrats!
Too bad it went to waste. Once a home filled with love and laughter. Thanks Steve keep em coming!!!!

Love the layout of this home. It's not "blocky" inside like most big houses of that era.. It has personality. Thank you again Steve.
Can you imagine how beautiful it must have been "back in its day" with all those big rooms.......Love the music you put with the video.

I was thinking the same thing, Mary. What a grand house it was.
So sad to see it just rotting away
You are so right, Steve. This house can't stay up much longer. I noticed how the walls were all the same but I can't figure out if they had all been stripped of wallpaper or maybe had all been painted the same color---or something else. Whatever the reason the white walls and dark woodwork go well with the snow and trees outside. This was once a fine house.

Andrew Brendan I'm betting people thought this house was ready to collapse 20 years ago. it's the good bones construction that's keeping it up. probably be up a good time longer.
I agree, take the pictures while the house is still standing who knows how many more winters it has left. I'm surprised there wasn't more structural collapses on outside walls. I imagine this place was part of a large farm back in the day this farmer and his family must have been very well to afford a house like this. I love the detail in the staircase with the small bay window that's something you definitely don't see very often nowadays.
Wow! This must have been a lovely house! The size is perfect:
What a great house. Must have been really spectacular in its day. I really like they layout and the bay windows in various places. So sad to see it collapsing. Thanks for posting it.
Even in its condition, it still looks comfy cozy
Love to see your videos. Even in the decrepit state some of these properties are, you can't help but imagine them back in the day. They just don't build 'em like that anymore. Thank you for the work and effort you go to for our enjoyment.

Shame to see a beautiful house go to waste, great explore though.
What a shame! Those rooms once had holidays, laughter, milestone family moments all left to rot! Thanx for risking your life in that deathtrap Steve!
So beautiful!! Imagine the life this house was once full of.
Nice video, beautiful old house, the snow made it even more so.

Once the roof goes, everything else is soon to follow.
Always enjoyable. That was beautiful in its destruction. Reminds me of those old movies when the hero is shot and dies most poignantly. A moment of silence for the end of an era. Keep up the great work!

Huge place! Lucky you didn't sneeze probably would have collapsed.
Those old houses were built so well. It's amazing how long they can stand after being abandoned.
AMAZING video, love the snow effect, these photos are print worthy ! omygosh be careful !

I love the the stills you show at the end of your videos. I especially love the black and white shots. You get a real feel for the complete desolation of an old home like this one. The stills bring out the true sadness of the houses state. Keep bringing us the stills Steve, love them
neat place and excellent video work...looks like it was beautiful once, thank you 😊

Steve: Excellent work! I think this house is beyond restoration, but your video gave an excellent impression of what it was like in its heyday. It is really sad that in the US we give no value to places like that. The house where I was born in Italy is attested in a document of the year 611 AD where it is explained it has been extant since 369 BC. It was is poor condition in 1630 and was reconstructed and extensively added on from 1644 to 1655. Then the attic was transformed into living spaces in 1701. It is still there. That is one of the reasons I feel sad when I see these wonderful American houses in such sad state of repair. And I really thank you for bringing these places to us before they disappear altogether.

Wow that house you describe is old and with paper work. Was it a road tavern/inn? A lot of them survive in Italy because they have importance to local people. Inns and tavern have been meeting places from the Roman times as well as taxation centers. The oldest building I worked on was 1562 with paperwork and now sits restored in the Gutach open air museum in Germany and is called" granny's house"

It was never an inn. Actually there are two houses. The one where I was born and another one not far, where I lived for many years. The paperwork in both houses attest repairs and expansions. One at the Piazza Navona and the other with a façade on Via del Corso.

Rome ? There is a lot of paperwork from in Rome. That road sounds familiar. Is that where they have a large pile of amphorae that is made into ah hill and is still there?
looks like more then 20 years lol of vacant, that house look like it was nice house back in the day
The snow blowing through the windows is very beautiful. I hate seeing houses like this dying. This house must have been very beautiful in its day.
Nice explore mate, looks crazy how it's snowing inside the house 👍
what a beautiful house! and the snow just added to the ambiance.
Thnx for going through that place, it will fall in 2 years i think if the roof gets worse.
This house must have been beautiful in it's day! I love the openness and huge airy rooms. I can see the drapes, and furnisher in my minds eye.
you can just look at the outside of the house and imagine how it once was back in its prime..
I bet that place was beautiful back in its day
such a shame, too late I suppose:-( wish you could have gotten up to the third floor, wish even more I could have gotten this house before it was too late and restored it to it's former glory
must have been a magnificent home in its day
Thanks Steve for another amazing video. What a brutal day to go exploring. This house was very deceiving from the outside. It was huge inside. Thanks again!
I would have got a long stick and duct tape the camera on the end of it lol. That house looks like it will collapse towards the front with the next high wind. Great look at the built in wall furniture construction of the 1820-1880's period. The amazing thing is that the bay type window have stood up to the test of time. Those were big pocket doors at one time in the house showing this was a very upscale house. Very good wood was used for the flooring as well, seems oak. Glad you didn't go to the 3rd floor attic. The hole in the floor is one thing, but that isn't structural, the floor joists were in bad shape and the main beams that ran from the front door to the back were showing slump. Bad sign and I would tear this down so nobody gets hurt, it is very far gone. I have seen very warped solid beams in many houses, those are rotten to the breaking point, in my opinion. Brave going in that one.

Thanks. Man reason why I didn't film much. Just way to dangerous!
Amazing, I can see beyond the ruins this was an awesome home at one time. Great video
Short but sweet,,that's ok, be safe! The snow added to the ambiance.
love this one Steve!!!
i can imagine when it was in its glory days ..when people were living and kids running around.. wonder where the bathroom stood... well nothing much left in there not even the doors and windows.. glad to see that some one must have put them in to use in a better place.. great exploration Steve .. take care..
Evident how beautiful this house once was. So sad it's about to fall apart!
Very good video! I just think that it's so sad when a house is just left to decay. What a fantastic house it must have been.
I really love your photography.

I agree with your caution wholeheartedly- place was cool as heck but was a death trap. Thanks for sharing, Steve!
What a beautiful home this must have been in it's time, such a shame that it has been left to decay. You were making me so nervous when you went upstairs! Thank you for the quick tour.
good video quality brought a better quality to the old place gives viewers the feeling their right their with ya
Great work!
When you 'Danger house', you kid not. & with the snow, come's cold, even more so. May be short, but so Thankful you play safe.. Thank you so much..

I loved the layout of this home, nice spacious rooms, built in cabinets in some. A shame vandals had to destroy some of it instead of Nature taking over. Very cool to watch the snow drifting in!!
WOW, that looks like a sketchy walkthrough. Looks like someone has harvested some of the Architectural details and moldings. I like the stair landing with the bay window. Thank you for sharing these videos.
omg, this house really was cool, I loved the lay out and the stairs. one of the rooms upstairs with the 3 windows, and every room was so big and spacious. it was dangerous though, I literally held my breath thinking you may go through the floor!
man what a nice house this was. luved the arc windows.
Thank you.
awesome video/explore!

I agree with everyone else. This was a nice home back in the day. Large and stylish with nice architectural design. Probably a sad family story behind how it came to be in this condition. The block work on the foundation and basement seem newer than the house. That makes me think someone had plans that the house would be around for a long time and is probably the only reason the place hasn’t fallen into a big pile of lumber.
This home must have been a mansion in it's hay day. It's a huge one. 🌻
damn Steve you got guts those floors look dangerous. look like that house was a beauty in her prime time. that farmer had some money to have a nice house like that sad to see her going to waist.

I can just imagine that first family move-in..
Beautiful even in such a state :( what a shame to let something like this rot away
My heart just wants to cry when I see beautiful homes like this one 'was'. What a waste.
I wonder if a drone might be useful for filming the areas of houses where the floors are rotted out.

One of the examples in the house of how fine it was long ago.
I really like the layout and design of that house. Too bad it was abandoned.
Such a beautiful place, even with all the decay. I’ll bet it was a “ Grand Dame “ in her time. The stairs and landing were very nice, probably my first favorite part of it, and the size of the rooms. Would have been a nice fixer upper, such a shame.
love creepy houses like that
I noticed it's been a while since you have uploaded a new video, being new to your channel I sure hope to see you upload some more, really hope so
Steve, I enjoy and look forward to your posts. Are you posting anything soon?
great video Steve as usual. one question though.. have you ever came across old photos of the houses that you explore. this house was probably beautiful back in its heyday. just wondering.
wow! :D
Nice explore man, I do similar vids in the uk 👍🏻
Hi. Can you tell me what kind of camera and lens you are using? Thanks.
Thanks Abandoned Steve, you are still the best. Lots of rubbish being post on UTUBE these days...Have you retired now? havent seen you posting in a while
In it's "hey day" when it was built i bet it was worth a lot.
Good flow through out this home. Airy and bright for its day. Someone took all the door and window trim, railings and who knows what else. Its better than going to a dump, I guess. Do you ever metal detect the land around these old houses?
How long was that house abandoned for
We miss your video's...Hope all is well with you.....

where is this place located
I wonder when the last time it was occupied.
All that reclaimed wood can be used to make another beautiful home.
Did anyone notice....only one fireplace..in a house that size and during that time period...that seems weird to me...
Do you know anything about the families that lived at this house?
