I am not getting gaia one, mostly all artemis. I only bought my topaz ai yesterday maybe the gaia ones are ommited now? P.s just had a thought maybe because rhe videos I am currently trying to upscale are in 480p. Maybe the Gaia ones don't show up with that resolution?

My issue is the people face sometimes got messed up, specially they're moving, it made everything else sharp and clear, but, human face like cartoon ish when they moving, any suggestions?

It sounds like to you are trying to upscale too much. Also is you are manually selecting sharpening, turn it down a bit.

@@VideoTutors ， thanks for the response. I don't have the software and PC, so , a friend do the test for my video, they said, only the fine tune fidelity, details have the sharpen, deblock, reduce noise options which they tried to set the Sharpen to 0, but no avail.

What is the resolution of the original video that you are trying to upscale?

@@VideoTutors ， they are low resolution, they tried 604 and 320. if the face big enough, it would be okay, no noises, but when the human size is smaller, let's say if the screen is 100 percent when human size is less than 10 percent of the screen, then their face could look like a ghost after the upscale.

By the sound of it, you are asking the software to do more than it is able to work with at such a low resolution.

There are a lot of 4K videos in my computer that are very blurry and ‘over-dehalo’ and they’re losing a lot of details. Sadly, topaz video enhancer AI still doesn’t do a great job on these videos, and it takes a long time to render compare to normal HD footage.

Help I can't choose the ai model? It's just blank? Also it gets stuck on the "initializing ai engine"

Found this explanation today: " users should be aware that there are some inconveniences to Topaz Video Enhance AI as well. First, it is not kind to system stability. It never fails to start properly when a machine is fresh from reboot, but if you’ve been using your GPU for other applications, the program may need a reboot to work properly. Stopping and starting it again pretty much always works the first time. It probably works a second time. You’ve even got a solid shot at three times. Asking it to render more than three videos in a row? That’s pushing your luck. Eventually, either the AI engine will fail to initialize or the application will crash and a reboot will be required." Question.. do you know if I use dione interlace if i still need to de interlace, interlaced video beforehand?

@@VideoTutors yes they are dvds I want to look better (a lot of them), I was using handbrake to de interlace but then noticed the dione interlace and realised I was wasting my time all I have to do is use the dione interlace. But seem to be having some issues with frame rate. Had this software a few months now and yet to have successfully done a dvd. Always looks great in the preview window but when it is finished always got a problem. Mostly frame rate issues.

good tutorial but occasional Timpani hits freaked me out!

Hello, your video is very good, I would like to ask you a question, why do you recommend not doing the upscale with sd (vob) files at more than 1080p? I had always done the direct upscale to 4k, but I saw your video and it made me doubt , I tried to make them at 1080, I want to think that it is because even if I do them at 4k the quality will not increase and only a super heavy file will come out, because I regularly get files of 15 or even 20 or more GB, so in conclusion you could Tell me why don't you recommend going over 1080 with sd files and if the quality is going to be the same even if I do it in 4k? Thank you

Thanks for the comment and question. I think that the quality of an SD video is so low that by upscaling too much you are not going to improve the quality, and may in fact, just increase the fuzziness of images.

from the conclusion I used this program, it seems like very working with RAW files/high-quality files. I tested a random youtube video. for example this one kzread.info/dash/bejne/dqeIxtixYpXfodI.html It's not satisfied. I'm using settings: video quality: low, video type: blurry, AI: Artemis low quality, sizing: 100% (denoise/deblock), grain setting: 0.

There is just not enough information in the KZread video you are using. I find that old SD clips like VHS have too much fuzziness to be able to show any significant improvement with the use of Video enhance AI. In fact in some cases I think they are worse when you try to improve them

@@VideoTutors have you ever try to render Topaz Enhance AI with a graphic card (NVIDIA/ATI) or without it (GPU)? actually, I have a plan to upgrade my old PC. just graphic card price right now is very expensive. just still thinking of an alternative between build-up a PC or choose Mac. which one the best for you?

When you elect the Video Format in The Topaz app make sure that "Keep Audio" is selected.

Only thing I know about it is that topaz doesn't do multi channel audio only stereo. If your videos have a multiple channel audio track you have to extract the audio from the original file and re attached it to the file you put through topaz.

Do you know a good software that converts a video from 4K 60FPS to 4K 120FPS? 🤔
