Lower Extremity Nerve video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y2yjs8uiiq7QqrQ.html
The way I remember the causes of radial nerve injuries is this: You listen to the Radio (radial N.) on Saturday night (Sat night palsy) while drinking and driving. You’re so drunk that your WRIST DROPS on the steering wheel. You crash and break your mid shaft of humerus. They put you on crutches. You heal and go back to work as a car mechanic aka using your screw driver in a repetitive pronation/supination.

I got 2 whole questions on these nerves. The ARM-University 'armed' me well enough to answer them right. Thank you Dirty!
This is really great stuff. Your mnemonics are always on point. Thank you so much for sharing!
every time that i see brachial nerve injury in the q stem, my heart sinks. Thank you for these videos. raised my score atleast 20 pts.
! This is really simple as possible. It used to be annoying, thank you very much.
Some content to add: Both ape hand and hand of benediction are median nerve injuries where Ape hand usually manifests during resting positions and hand of benediction when asking the pt to actively flex the fingers demonstrating weakness in flexion of first 3 digits. Ulnar claw, which looks similar to hand of benediction, is usually seen during resting positions and is differentiated by the extension of proximal phalanges, making it a "claw".
The ever easy and understandable lecture on nerve injuries in my medical carrier. Wao bravo
Thank you so much! you have no idea how much you helped me organize my studying.
Thank you so much!!! Your videos are soooooo helpful and easy to understand!🙏

Realized that this mnemonic can be even dirtier... ARM-U + NAMe SOME === "R" for Radial + "AMe" for Axilla, midshaft, and poor wrist EXTENSION! (ie wrist drop cause i always forget)
Beyond grateful!!!

Thank you for sharing this video. !!!
Thank you for doing these lectures. You are great. A fall on an outstretched hand can affect the ulnar nerve. It is also important to remember that a fall on an outstretched hand can result in a Colles (distal radius) fracture or a Scaphoid fracture which would then involve the median nerve.
thank u person, you made it easy memorizable
you are a SAINT!!
Thanks a Tonne, this is super helpful
thanks so much for making this easy!!
Great work sir plz make one for lowe limbs and add vessels injury . thanks a lot

THANK YOU
Thank you
Any video on rotator cuff injuries? Has came up a lot in my NBMEs
Heads up: Uworld step1 qbank question 11855 mentions outstretched hand fall AND supracondylar fracture... more details in the question help localize to the answer of radial nerve, but unfortunately naming some wasn't enough for this Q
Thankyou so much
Dirty!!You are a life saviour❤
Thank you so much ... can you please make video on lower limb also
Superb 🙏🙏🙏...thank you...
Where was this when I was learning anatomy??? Was it intentional that A/R and M/U are next to each other and anatomically related? (A/R both branch off the (middle ->) posterior cord, and the ulnar nerve branch is what's left of the medial cord after it donates fibers to the median nerve.)
thank you so much!!! 12/3/2022
Please upload lectures on dermatology
Too good
Thankyou🙂
Thnk you so muchhhhh
Thaaanks a looot
Great
Pls make a video on gram positive and gram negative bacteria, viruses and some microbiology stuff pls.
Ape hand deformity is a condition in which the thumb is permanently rotated and adducted, resulting in a loss of its opposable function. This deformity is caused by damage to the distal median nerve
Very gooooooood l love this you person nice
is it important to learn whole brachial plexus for step 1 or just we should remember important nerves of it
Is the ulnar claw not called the Benedictine sign?
Thanks. The pneumonic didnt include the musculoctaneous nerve dough.
LOVE ITTTT
awesome
Are there questions asking straight up nerve roots?
Grt
the best
Some can’t see blood 🩸, It’s difficult to watch this remembering my own injuries the whole time methodically detailed nerves 😂
Hm.nice video

Are these the same nerves as the Brachial Plexus?
@machesopatrick1046
Жыл бұрын
They are the branches of the brachial plexus,,"they are part "
