Honestly - i feel incredibly sad for Vengeurr. He played really well, but loosing on Molten Falls, when he seemingly lost where was Rapha, and Deep Embrace, when he had all the control and overstack, but accidently dealt 80 dmg to himself after 2 unsuccessful attemps to shoot rockets through the floor, was SOOOOOOO UNLUCKY! Such an unnecessary mistakes, but we can feel the pressure of playing in the final against the strongest player. Gl next time.

He lost Deep Embrace because he wanted to finish it too fast, attacked with a weaker angle and predicted easily. I too wanted him to win, it's showing bad health when a game has the same winner for decades. But rapha is just too good. Nosfa also was amazing at watching, his Athena play was amazing.

@@attractivegd9531 I think the reason Rapha is being main winner in QC for like 2 years is because of his dedication and passion about practicing and about the game in general. He's just too serious about final results and about even smallest aspects of the game which helps him to reach those results. I didn't see him goofing on streams or playing mindlessly for hours, or having a bad mouth about other players (at least publicly) it looks like his actions is always have some meaning. He knows his strenghts and he's abusing them in a obsessive manner. The guy just got a purpose and some plan.

This was the match of the tournament. Incredible combat skills from Vengeur and sound strategic fundamentals from rapha. It all came down to 2 errors from Vengeur. The first, rushing MH on Molten in the final seconds, followed by a very unlucky ring out by rapha's lg. If he'd landed on the lower floor, rapha would have got fried by Vengeur's lg if he tried to drop down and Vengeur would win the map. Second big error - we all saw it - two self damage rockets trying to thread the needle on Deep Embrace floor boards. Without these he could have won the map and potentially the match. I was so hoping to see Vengeur rapha go head to head again in the grand final, but unfortunately he fell to Cypher after a couple more unforced errors. Vengeur has the best pure combat skill and damage output in QC, but just needs to work on his strategy at crucial moments to be a champion. Lets see what he can do in Stage 3 Finals :-))

14:17 - Second round: Rapha oppresses Vengeurr with Scalebearer with ridiculous game management. Early on its as if he is throwing but the pressure tires Vengeurr out from making all the god-like rails. Unfortunately, he eventually plays into Rapha's game as he gets fragged into sudden death with Rapha cycling on the major items with bull rush to go. LG vs LG finish but weakened Vengeurr is no match for Rapha blatantly launching himself on top of Vengeurr over the edge to crush down with pure stack. Meta game psychology at its finest.

I think rapha also mentioned today on his stream that the production forgot to change the server information sometimes. You can see it in one of the matches last weekend where the server information got updated mid-match, so I think it's safe to assume they still alternate the servers for each map. Only when the SA players play the EU players do they keep it on NA server through out the set, because the pings from SA to EU is too high so they settle for a middle ground in NA
