Thanks for covering the mod and so glad you measured power on the wall at the end there. LuxOS power estimate can be inaccurate, specially for newer models like the T21. This should still be a worthwhile modification for folks who bought Antminer T21 by accident without realizing 3 phase power requirement, or those looking to get sub 20J/T mining efficiency without spending $4000-$5000 to buy an S21.

There's so much in this vid. Don't make any decisions until you get to the end of the vid, and of course, do your own research. LOL Those power readings are crazy different. I could see you ordering a whole batch of these in the future Vosk until the power readings from the wall came in and brought reality in with a bat and bruises. haha. I wish those early numbers were correct. I was looking forward to seeing vids of you guys cranking out these like a production line to set up everywhere around your house.

I got 8 3 phase t21 run them max power get 223th they are bullet proof comes with stupid plug I cut off wire straight into 3 phase breaker also I have free power profits are really good after halving do need to buy more 👍🏻

I have 3 phase power, it's 220V phase-neutral tension, so it's 380V phase-phase tension, can I run the t21 with the provided power supply?

Hey Vosk! Can we connect a bank of 12V, LFP batteries directly to those busbars to power the miner? Disconnect them from the PSU of course, but use the PSU for the fans and whatever that ribbon cable is. An LFP battery range is 12-14V, the PSU is 12-15V, so it should be a direct connection, but use a 300A Class T fuse in addition to the BMS. If this works, then it's really cheap to charge the batteries from solar, and you could distribute the DC to all the miners. It going to be way more efficient! If I had an old miner, I'd try it myself.

Can you go the other way and put the 3 phase power supply on a faster S21 pro machine?

If you have 1000 of these you probably already have 3-phase.😁I need to find some spoofers for the new style 4-pin square fan connector. When I look at CMB, the T21 is about $1000 less than the S21. Even if you add-in the price of the PSU, it's still less CapEx ($/Th) as well as reported efficiency. I "assume" when they mine the "fee", it's to the luxor pool, can't you spoof that connection (through local DNS) and shut-down the miner (reduce power) when it's hitting their pool?

Hi Vosk, probably few people know it, but the T21 if you work high voltage, you can make an OC and OV until you get about 280Th without problem, you don't need to change the power supply unless you have no choice according to your own electrical installation. T21 is much more multivalent versus S21. 👍

Got a T21 today, 3p is std here, so no issue. But I cant install Braiins, anybody got it installed ? Amlogic board and 4.2024 firmware. Toolkit says installable but does let me install. Lastest version, it did the install on my S19k pro fine

update: Braiins needs an older stock firmware, or it wont run on the T21 with FW 4.2024 and later, sadly the braiins website does not tell it. The older march 2024 FW wont work either, so we have to wait some months. Or has anybody a link to the stock bitmain feb 2024 FW ? thx

So is that 33 amps in 110? That is a lot. This would make it not interesting. Can you get that efficiency on 220?

three-phase power supplies are more efficient, you wont get the same machine its like running a 380v stove on 220v yes you can do it, but you have less powerr and are less efficient... specially with long distance i would keep a eye on its consumption, and not just think same same but different

Incorrect, it's just a matter of the power supply design. Just because you are running it on a different design of power supply, doesn't mean you're running it at less voltage, because no matter what power supply you're running, it converts that AC voltage down to 12 volts DC.

@VoskCoin, thank you for all of the information. With the split, I would be at zero dollars per day. Better than negative I guess. How do I come out ahead if BTC goes to $90,000 end of next year or mid 2026? I am looking at running two of these clocked down to 3,000 watts. With the machines and the C2 I will be close to $9,000 for the set up. At 3,000 watts each I will be at roughly 80% of your output, (288 tH/s for two miners). At this rate, how do I calculate how much BTC I will be mining and then estimate that value in the next 24 months, (assuming $90,000)? Thank you for all of your wonderful info. I see this really takes a lot of genuine enthusiasm to stomach the lows you are facing with BTC right now. I greatly appreciate all of the information you are putting out there for us.

It's not the voltage, it's the amperage involved, which is around a good 250 amps.
