I click on the link for the lower air dam and on the fitment description says GT not SXT and also no years fitment for SXT 2015-2018 any ideas.

Looks awesome man. My RT has one but thinking about picking up a backup incase of scrapes. If you have time you should make a video about how you maintain your paint/exterior. Your car is always so clean and this black paint is a struggle

@jeremyJOH Are you sure the air dam fits with not other required parts? Because i also found this part number(air dam) and it says it’s compatible with the sxt. Please get back to me with details and the best option to go with.

Aside from the lower-air dam itself, you will also need the close-out covers shown in the video.

Yo how much you spend all together? I have 2015 challenger rt +. The dealership here in phx az told me the dam is gonna be 800 and I'm going to need a new splash guard cause by switching it I'm gonna need another for it to fit properly and that's going to be another 300. And that's just for the parts. He didn't even tell me how much instalation was gonna cost cause he said he doesn't know if it's gonna take one or two days. And you're telling me you spent if I added right about 500ish, bruh...🤦‍♂️

The website states that it doesn’t fit the vehicle because the SXT doesn’t come with it from the factory. Rest assured, it does fit the vehicle.

Yes.

I watched a couple of videos of people changing the dam, and it's essentially removing the entire bumper/faschia/dam assembly and messing with it on the ground and then putting the whole assembly back on again. My guess is when you consider the G's of air that dam gets at really high speeds, you can't just pop rivit it onto the outside of the fascia.

Where did you get yours from man, my RT didnt come with that air dam and I can’t find it anywhere online, if you can get back to me please and thank you

Thanks man i got mine from the links you provided in your description and got them installed at this local body shop which charged me only $250 to install it. Can you believe the dealer tried to charge me $900!!! You must live in a very rural town or is very close with the Service Manager? The reason I ask because in order to install this air dam the whole bumper needs to come off and it took 4 hours to complete. The close out dams are definitely needed because otherwise you will be left with a gap behind the air dam which can get mud or any other debris in. I highly recommend this mod.

@@Eddy-ng4jz yes mine is a 2021 SXT and as long as your purchased the part it will fit even without the close our air dams. You will need to remove the front bumper in order to remove the current sxt airdam skirt and install the rt airdam wipe lip. Call your local body shop because they know how to professionally do it so you wont skuff your paint. The parts in his description definitely will fit your year/model. Same body just a different year. The parts place have a 1800 customer service number you can speak with them as well.

@@Eddy-ng4jz oh yea i seen that too. But yes the reason it show that because it’s not a part for a sxt it’s for a rt but a mod that can fit on the sxt. So i know the confusion lol but no worries it will fit.

The site you linked to and other websites insist that this part doesn't fit your 2019 model nor my 2017, are you sure it will fit and dealer won't give the run around?

Yes, I linked the exact same part that I purchased. The Dodge Challenger hasn’t really changed much since 2015, so all of the bumpers are essentially the same, excluding the Hellcat bumper.

First of all I want to say that I really like your videos. I have the same model Challenger. And I have watched this video numerous times in anticipation of having this mod done to my car. But I was thinking, if you add a part to a lower trim from a higher trim, is that a form of "upbadging"? I'm just curious, because the V8 community is so hard on us V6ers. By the way, it looks awesome dude.

Who cares what other people think screw them do what you think looks cool and that's that.

Nowadays people like to black out the entire car but then it has nothing in contrast to accent the black. The chrome lugs imop do a pretty good job of that and maybe some chrome Challenger script fender badges would be enough to make that pitch black really pop

I had no idea that a dealership can install a modification on a car for you. I want to add some mods to my car but I don't trust myself. Haha.

Not a lot do, I’m in Chicago they all dont add aftermarket unless they order it and they couldn’t confirm Fitment so they wouldn’t do it

$200 for parts and $50 for labor!!!??? 😝🤣
