I enjoy your videos. Very informative. I'm 68 yrs old ,but young at heart. I've been looking at low mileage used R/Ts . I'd love to have a SRT, but my retirement money can't buy one. I only want a manual & something my wife & I can take on a trip. I was raised with Mopars. Dad didn't even consider anything else.

My Team Lead at work threw me the key to his SRT8 two weeks ago on a Saturday said have fun see ya Monday. I got to say i never felt any thing pull so hard in every gear in my life and i have had some pretty fast cars. The six speed manual with the short shift is a blast. Put a huge smile on this old mans face. 64 with a need for speed.

Glad I watched your video.. I did not need the bypass on my 2015 but did not realize that put it in the trunk and opened up the OBD2 for tuning.. I was under the impression that I could load the software on the car and not need to leave the taser in for the functions to work.. but found that not to be true.. Many functions need the taser plugged in at all times..thx again MoPal..

First mod I did on my scatty. Everyone loves the lightshow at car meets

the tazer was the best investment for my scat pack. over 4 years with it now, still glad i got it.

I love my Tazer. The line lock it great for burnouts (I have a 2017). I shut off the seatbelt chime and it lets your passenger set the Navigation when the car is moving. Best thing the Scat Bee at start up. Some many more things can be done. I did not do SRT mode as I wanted the Scat Bee at start up. Read your directions as there are so many cool features. Thanks for another great video.

Have 1 use it with my SXT, really worth the money. Things like light show is fun but also functional because you can add schema's, via this option i added the parking lights left/right front + back. much saver when parked on a dark street

I bought my 2018 Scat Pack used and the previous owner left his Tazer in it. I love it because the 2018 does not have Track mode or line lock and with my Tazer I am able to access both. You guys have really put some miles on your 2019 Scat Pack. Keep up the good work I always enjoy your videos.

I have a 18 shaker and it has line lock when I press the "super trak pak" button. I don’t have any srt pages though so I’ll definitely be getting the tazer

I will be buying one of these in 2024 for my 2013 5.7L Hemi 300C and install it in the trunk. I hope that I will see the performance pages would be awesome! I will love having the light show capability! Thank you...RacerX for the great ideas on the best mods.

TaZer was the first thing I bought for my 12 rt after a cat back, still love that thing best bang for the buck

The Taser is a great product for a relatively low price. It does more for some models than it does for others but well worth it. I think it's a "must" for 2015-2018 Scat Packs. I've had one on my '16 Challenger Scat Pack for 3 years and love it!

What does it do ?

This was the first mod I did for my 2016 Charger Scat Pack. I wanted to enable the Valet and Track modes that the SRT models came with that year. Works great and has lots of other features. Definitely recommend this product!

@@just_a5.7 I believe in Track mode that the shift points are raised a few hundred RPM and that the transmission shifts a hair quicker. If I remember correctly.

Racer X, Thank you for this video. I watched it when you put it out, and it's taken me two years to finally get around to buying the Tazer for my '16 392 Scatpack Charger. I picked up the trunk install wiring harness as well. I will be installing this little gadget when the rain stops. And the reason I got it? I want my car to default to starting in Sport mode with the different shift points, and I do NOT like the stability control. I prefer to control the car based on the feedback I get, and not let some computer do it for me. -'68 Barracuda

Yes sir, the Tazer was only for 2011 & up, so it wasn't an option anyways when I got my '09 R/T, but both are fantastic products. Even though he has to get it reflashed, I actually gave my Tazer to the salesmen that sold me my Stinger GT1 because he was getting a promotion & buying a Hellcat after the sale.

Can't wait to buy my wife a RT charger next year , get the tazer for it and a few other bolt on mods for her.. she's going to love it and me as well lol

i bought one 3 years ago for my scat pack. still works fantastic

I didn’t plan on getting one for my R/T but this video has definitely had me rethink that lol great vid X

Thanks ! I have a manual 2018 shaker 6.4 . It will make burn outs easy !! Just plug the two plugs into what's available on each side.? Blue /White - Green / Yellow . Then the one on the fuse. And ground wire. Thanks ! Cool !! Plug the Tazer in .

Only works if you haven't connected your uconnect to the server , wasted my time had to reset everyday to use the pages

My uncle has 2 Buick Grand Nationals ...I no one is a 1987...unknown on the other one...hopefully it's a GNX!!!....There both wrecked...they are stored In a barn!!!...haven't been there in 8 years!!...definitely a good you tube video!!

Great video RacerX. I’ve been debating on getting a Tazer for my 17 R/T Daytona. My car already has the performance pages so I don’t know if having the SRT pages is much of an improvement. I guess it would be if I could utilize track mode.

My 2018 scatpack came with it

I've have a 2019 Charger Scatpack with the 8.4 U- connect. I have been looking at the Tazer for awhile so I could get a track mode. Is there much of a difference between Track and Sport mode, thanks :)

The double bypass is super easy to install and is definately worth it. It basically integrates the tazer and you will probably never see it again....The buttons are just as useful and make controls seamless and factory like. I set mine to 1. Light show 2. Sport mode (even though it starts in sports mode) 3. Track mode.

What benefits does this have on a 2020 charger scat pack. Most of the options people show i already have access to? Except ths shift light. Also will this set a code in the PCM for "unauthorized tune" so the dealer may argue warranty?

I should update my software, because the Shaker startup screen goes away when I enable performance pages. I liked the Track mode. Mines an 2018, and I didn't have it.

I have had a Tazer for years and it is a great product. You can also set a code to use so someone can't drive your car without using it

I was iffy if it was worth it before. Now that it has been updated, it is 100% worth it. If you have an RT, you can force the engine and transmission into race mode. It makes a night and day difference in performance.

Those buttons go on the steering wheel where the adaptive cruise control would go. If you have adaptive cruise control the buttons are useless, if you don't have it then it replaces the blank black buttons with these functional ones.

Lol, I don't even have a challenger, or Mopar, and I think this is cool. My dream car right here. I'll never be able to afford one though. So it's gonna stay a dream forever.

When you plugged the bypass into slot 37, what did you need to do with the fuse next to it that is being taken up by the block on the bypass?

Hey RacerX. I just factory ordered at a dealership a custom 2021 Challenger Scat Pack Widebody Shaker edition. I was hoping you might have some inside scoop // insight into approx how long i should expect until delivery and how do I check? Dealer said right now its approx 6 weeks, but I would love a way to check in on progress and status. You have any ideas?

I wouldnt mind this for my 18 5.7 hemi but just dont know if it would be worth it, id love to have the performance page and the seatbelt dinging off

The white connector goes into the green star connector and the green connector goes into the white star connector. It doesn't matter what open space you choose in the green star connector. It's basically a splice block. You're plugging into the CAN-C and IHS buses. The newer cars have a security gateway module so you can't just plug into the DLC. The DLC is not directly connected to the vehicle networks.

Can you adjust the shift point rpms with this? I have an A8 Hellcat and would like to raise mine 1 or 200 rpms.

Are you aware, Scat is latin for small animal shit? Dodge couldn't attain the Rat Pack nomenclature, so cleverly snuck Scat for Rat. Check it out, you. You actually want a Shit-Box! Scat is used in reference to wild animal droppings only. Notwithstanding Wikipedia's article some dictionaries define scat as simply as an animal fecal dropping. Individual droppings - cow pats, meadow muffins, etc

Will this taser mod also make it so you can cancel the eco mode so all the cylinders are always firing.

I’ve been thinking about getting this product for a year now… but I’m concerned if it affects the warranty, or if it voids it since you’re messing with the computer of the car… I’ve watched other videos on this topic but none of them mention concrete statements in favor or against… also, does eco mode really work when accessing through the tazer? Btw, excellent video!

Does this device circulate the coolant while the engine is off and it turns the fan on? I could see how operating the inter cooler pump and fan would be beneficial on a hellcat, but just the fans running? Seems like the only “benefit” would be draining your battery

It says you can remap buttons, I wonder if you could remap the srt button in a hellcat to be on the steering wheel kinda like the bmw M button or the Z button on the c8.

Just saw an ad for these things earlier today, was wondering how they worked, good timing

I have track mode on mine and it shifts fast and hard. And both sport and track keep the valves on the exhaust open but track definitely seems louder and deeper. I had track for my trans and steering and auto/street for traction and suspension in custom but switched to sport instead of track. I’m going to save track mode for certain occasions and use the whole mode

That is the Harmon Kardon, upgraded sound system. It’s comes from the factory that way. I have the same set up in my hellcat. It’s one of the best oem speaker systems I’ve ever had.

So this is the OBDeleven for VW/Audis basically? Do you need to purchase credits to change some features?

I have been looking at the Challenger Scat pack manual, what did your's run dead stock?

Does the track mode make it more aggressive than the regular sport mode before having the tazer?

I’m interested in installing a backup camera on my 2011 SXT+ Charger. This can flash the Ecu so it pops up on the screen and stuff right?

I saw on their website that it can keep a car in RWD. Do they just mean jeeps or would that work on my wife's GT? I don't want or need AWD all year long. As a side note my widebody scat pack cost less than her GT. So no I didn't buy a GT because I can't afford a V8. I need an AWD car for the winter.
