Updates to the Jeep YJ and I gave her a name!

#jeep #jeepyj #jurassicjeep
I did some updates and fixing up of the 1992 Jeep YJ, but I also found a few issues with the cowl and dash. But we gave her a bath and shined her up and she looks amazing!

I think it is your second jeep.. someone has probably guessed by now , I don't need a gift and I have not read the comments but my guess on why it's named 2. Liked the video , not a big fan of Jurassic jeeps but it's your jeep and don't take any crap for doing it. I loved the movie but I would feel strange driving around in one. I bet it turns out nice looking forward to seeing it.

Actually if he decides to do a JP jeep the dash color is "Cinder" I got this from the sacred JP documents. If your interested in this research that many people have contributed too, and if your considering doing a JP jeep or explorer, google JPmotorpool.com and check out the reference pages. I currently have 3 YJ's I will start my process to convert at least one or or hell all three to JP jeeps #'s 10-12-18-29 not sure which but 10 is totally different from the rest. check out that reference pg's. I too would like to get that fabricators info for that strip over the dash. Hope this helps and send me some updates as you go I'd like to see your progress "Spare no expense" BTW nice eng swap video too!! Thanks ps the JP decals are referenced in the papers where to get perfect one's as well as most of the needed stuff good luck again

Nice money pit you got there. Im probably the only one against the Jurassic jeep only because your jeep is honestly too clean to meddle with. I hope you dont go lifting it and stuffing 37s under it. Its almost perfect the way it is now! Goodluck with getting to that speaker by the way, its like jeep wants you to pay for all your sins before you get to that speaker.

I hope I'm not too late with my comments, but please, "for the love of god" don't ruin a perfectly good Jeep by making it say Jurrassic Park in any way shape or form. Paint it, lift it, put in new "whatever" just don't "schlock" it up by painting Jurrassic anything on it. Please rethink your decision.

AMEN!!! It's like wearing parachute pants to your 25th high school reunion or getting a tramp stamp at age 50. Should have named it "Copy Cat- Asaurus". It was an orginal, excellent condtion YJ. Now it's just another highly customized/personalized Wrangler that will never be movie quality and will be worth FAR less than the near mint, original conditon classic YJ that it was.

Well for all the smiles it has brought people, for all the kids that get so excited when they see it. For all the parents that ask me to get pictures with their kids, I have to say it’s been 100% worth it and I wouldn’t change it. To each their own. Also, for the record, I’ve done more to restore this to an original factory Sahara than anything. If I ever wanted it to be “a classic YJ” again. All it takes a a basic paint job.
