Anyone having issues with finding the disc key, please try the following: Uninstall any ISO programs such as "poweriso", this specifically was an issue with a viewer. Only use windows built in "mount" options to mount the ps3 iso. Make sure you have the latest release of disc dumper from the github page. Try finding your IRD key manually and adding it to disc dumpers "IRD" folder. Here is one of the available IRD databases: ps3.aldostools.org/ird.html MAKE SURE you have the correct region and title id IRD key. If the region is different from the .iso you have, it will NOT work.

@@kwnstadidi I found a solution: Once you find the IRD file, which is the key file for that game,, it has to be correct and synching with the region the game is from. Patch it with the game through the patcher application... I'll explain how later in this comment. And after you patch it with the right IRD, Decrypt it with the 3k3y application and wait untill it does its magic...! You can find what I'm talking about through this link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aKufxM-Rj869qpM.htmlsi=bH7L690jFDvqSd-5 (I dunno how to make this a clickable link, sorry XD but you should be ok if you screenshot the link and put it into google translate) So once you're done with decrypting, extract the folders from the decrypted file and put it into a new folder in order to play that game on either your pscx3 or your own modded ps3. There's a thing in some games (for RPCS3) files named .p3s files that have .xml files attached to them that read folders that I can't see. Is there a way to decrypt assets that I can't see in the decrypted iso?

I wanna ask, does it matter if we have where it says "PS3 System" is either filled with the CFW or ODE options, because I have a PS3 SuperSlim and it cant take CFW? EDIT: Seems it doest matter? Unsure how everything works with rpcs3 as it's been a while, but I would assume that you need decrypted JB folders or ISO files to play. Redump is an iso that has been directly ripped from a game disc, and therefore needs to be decrypted before use.

can someone help its saying no valid disc description key was found

I dont have a Blu-Ray drive for my PC but I do have a modded PS4 so I tried to get the files from the PS3 game off of the Disk via FTP from PS4 to PC and it worked but because these are just raw files and not an .iso it doesn't seem to work. I tried turning the files into an .iso with imgburn and it was detected yet RPCS3 spat out an error so I am at a loss

Unsure about using a ps4. You can dump a game using the ps3 itself or a blueray drive on your pc.

Would be nice if you showed how you made the file into the WinRaR zip

This is interesting, I don't have too much experience with ntfs external drives, though it has worked for me in the past. Do all games from the ntfs drive have this issue?

I'm thinking about that too, I downloaded UNTIL DAWN decrypted folder and converted it into ISO format but the dkey is not working. I wonder if the decrypted folder might just work by moving it in the PS3 game folder ?

@@strixxr it was "god of war: collection" I fixed it by removing powerISO, i think any ISO programs would make this problem, only use the windows one

Are you sure your .iso file isn't corrupt? If the file is corrupt/incomplete or already converted incorrectly, this will cause issues. Try dumping your disc again. What game are you trying to use?

@@strixxr first of all thnx for the reply so basically I downloaded Assassin's creed Heritage collection BLUS01968 and it was a redump file so I used PS3 disc dumper and when it asked for disc key I was locating it but it showed file too small to be valid ird structure and iso was really fine . I have a jailbroken PS3 so I wanted to make it a game file and then copy it to PS3 but this error was continuously showing so I found already decrypted iso online so I downloaded and if it's already decrypted I am sure I have to Ftp it then it will work on PS3

I use JB folders for rpcs3, so you can skip the converting to .iso part, just use disc dumper to dump your encrypted .iso into a folder and use that in rpcs3 :)

Winrar does not have a decryption system for these .iso files as they are specially encrypted by Sony.
