If you ever plan on crossing the mountains i recommend checking out the town of Mansfield WA, along with the Mansfield Sportsman's club on Memorial day weekends, they have the largest model rocket launch in the whole state, lots of people go there

Actually, we were talking about crossing the mountains this morning. We lived over there for a few years and love that part of the state. We lived in Grant County, but I don't think we ever made it to Mansfield. The rocket launch sounds like fun. I'll definitely add that to my list. Thanks for the suggestion.

PNW Granny it really is I'm part of the rocketry club, Mansfield is actually in Douglas county but it's easy to find on Google maps since its near highway 2

When I mentioned it to my husband he knew exactly where Mansfield was and remembers being there on one of our trips from Wenatchee to Spokane on Hwy 2. His memory is better than mine, lol. I'll keep the Sportsman Club in mind. Thanks.
