Tacoma has so much going for it! Thanks for showing the Lincoln district. I used to eat lunch there at a little drive in, not the Jubilee, but Burger Ranch. I never ate in, just used their drive thru. Loved those beautiful autumn leaves and those wonderful craftsman houses at the end of the video. Nice work! Thank you so much! Thank you. The Burger Ranch is still there as well. The Jubilee is under a new ownership, but they still serve Fairburgers. I've tried both places and still not sure which I prefer. Love craftsman houses they remind me of the houses I remember my relatives living in when I was a girl. Feeling better for now waiting for my next round of treatments.

Thank you for the tour. What a lovely tree shaded park! I love the leaves turning on the trees...the coolness in the air, not so great on my joints though.

PNW Granny, This seems like a nice area. I love that park. At least there’s lots of shade if you want have a picnic in that area. Parks today are all cookie cutter parks. I could live in that area. Nice to see a new video from you. Continued Prayers always.

It is a nice area. The park is small but nice and adjoins the high school. My husband lived here as a child and remembers when the school was smaller and the park was larger. There are some beautiful craftsman style homes here, my favorite, along with some older and newer ones.

That's such a nice video. I hope that means that you are feeling better, and were able to get out and about some. That would be an excellent walking town in the fall. Love seeing the fall colors. Still feeling a little shaky and weak, but much better. The fresh air and sunshine was a good medicine. I am anxious to see what the district is like when it is all done. I forgot to mention that my husband went to an Elvis concert in the Lincoln Bowl (an outdoor sports field next to the school) in the early 50's when Elvis was still a virtual unknown. Hubby was only 15 years old.

@@RVGrannyWA Im glad you are doing some better. Chemo takes the stuffins right out of you for quite awhile. Even just a nice ride can make you fee a little better. Wow, thats a great memory for your husband. Get lots of rest, and some chicken soup on chilly nights. ❤

Hubby took me out for dinner tonight and I indulged in an all-you-can-eat salad bar. Tested my taste buds on a lot of different items and found some that were good and others that were not. Fresh pineapple and watermelon were my favorites.

I have been feeling better lately. The Lincoln District sat for years before the city took an interest in it. Some of the iconic businesses left years ago and were replaced with what you see now. When the work is done I would like to return make another video.

Lived on 40th and Fawcett for 9 years 1978 to 87. Miss the Boots and Frisbees Bakery. Jubilee still has an awesome Smitty Burger!

Jubilee has food truck near where I live now in Midland. If you ever in the area it's at 90th and Portland on a vacant lot.

Thanks. I live outside Sequim and now retired. I detoured through the North End of Taco to get a Frisco Freeze double deluxe a month ago. First one in 30 years. It was glorious. Midland...that was rural living when I was a kid. Enjoyed your video on Brooklyn. I still get out that way once in a while to some secret fishing spots.
