For some reason I struggle with the niners playbook on D. I tried ravens, and got better results, but still with the talent I had I should have been better. Have you found power backs are better in sim. Thats what its seemed like to me.

Love the update, I’ve been struggling to find a consistent and high producing defense so this is awesome, thanks T4G

@@austind4029 honestly, I’ve been stuck hard trying to find one that is consistent, and I think Baltimore in Disguise 3-4 might be the best, but try Atlanta works sometimes too, try them both and see

Worked perfectly. I used The chargers and I went 14-3 in sim and Herbert threw 4700 and won MVP

Dallas was killing it pre patch for slow sim, but post patch it has been rough.

Ive been trying offenses and gb and the rams offense goes great with kc defense . I like the rams offense when i wanna build a wr . And the chiefs or raiders when i wanna build a te ill use raiders if i have a good rb

I love 3-4 Storm w/ Baltimore playbook Wondering about switching to San Francisco or Kansas City. Offense i LOVE vertical zone run (shoutout AR12) w/ Dallas playbook. Classic mike mccarthy pass heavy book with runs that always work if you know how to read the defense, double team and find the mike LB.

ANYONE WHO WANTS A GOOD RUNNING PLAYBOOK: Try buffalo with vertical power run. It is so nasty.

What defense playbook do you use

Happy thanksgiving.

Anyone else feel like Dallas has been nerfed to the ground on offense? Ive tried switching up the offensive schemes between wc zone, vert zone, wc spread and even tried the wc and vert power with Dallas playbook and I just cant seem to get anything consistent on offense besides a lot of no receiver gets over 50 yards, running backs are getting 10-20 touches per game averaging 2-3 yards per carry...is there anything Im missing here?

@@ZxrobxgI just started using Tampa 2 defense with KC book. My LBs or CBs wouldn’t get picks with 3-4 disguise NYG book, which used to be goated, still is for sacks though. First game we got like 3ints and a few sacks with less points scored. Never used Tampa 2 but I got a all 99 franchise so my LBs so cold. Also I use WC Zone Run with the 49ers and got 3 WRs over 100 yds plus my RB over 100 it was crazy. Even better than TB especially for the balance.

Dallas offensive and BUF PIT are the best defense playbook

Why is it that everytime I use a 4-3 dedicated play book the LOLB NEVER EVER gets tackles like legit always non existent I’ve even tried putting An X factor there to see if it would change and nope and also I hate how they made the 3-4 blitzes change out the outside linebackers for the defensive ends automatically very frustrating

If you haven’t yet adjust your depth chart. Go to sub linebacker and make sure there the top option

I’ve noticed in the 4-3 you only get 2 LBS that produce, generally. Sub packages matter a lot in long-term sim. Playbook formation subs matter for slow-sim. Your LOLB probably isn’t in the top 2 for sub-LB for long-sim and isn’t used as a second-strong LB for the other positions (8-15 tackles for special teams). Probably sees like 5-600 snaps a season? 50-60 tackles?

@@manbearpig6025 yeah I just did a sim last night and put my LOLB in second of the sublb and he finally got tackles I’m thinking maybe if I just put both outside backers as starters and seeing what happens I only run cpu vs cpu sims but yeah the formations to me are better at 4-3 since the outside backers don’t get subbed out for lineman during blitzes like the 3-4

@@DALONEWOLF108I’ve been running a 3-4. I’ve got my top 2 MLBs as 1/2 for the sub LB and they raid it up like crazy. My OLB should be pass rushing guys but after 3 games in my current season they have 5 snaps for my ROLB and 16 snaps for my LOLB. It’s irritating. Makes me want to switch to a 4-3 and put those two on the DE side of things and hopefully they will get some use. Bc right now it feels like a crazy waste of talent and money with them not playing at all. My backup LOLB actually has the most snaps between the 3 of them. I’m assuming that’s special teams though. I also only do slow sim CPU vs CPU games. And the OLB position is the only one that makes me mad. Aside from the fact that this defense seems to suck. After 1 season I had the worst defense in the league. Give up the most points, most yards. Have minimal sacks and INTs. It’s been frustrating. So far in season 2, same issue. But now is when I actually saw my OLB not playing at all

Hey there, sorry had a bit of a random question. Thanks for all the videos though btw, really enjoying them. I'm just getting into quick simming franchises in Madden 22, I've always played live games before this, and while i can find quite a bit of good info about schemes and playbooks which work well for simming, I can't find anything about the players themselves. In live of course speed is king, is it the same in quick sims? And is there a big difference between quick and slow sims? To narrow it down a bit, I'm only simming defense at the moment because running the ball is my favourite bit. I dont mind getting meta with it at the moment, so i went with baltimore's defensive playbook which was recommended for 22, pick people which fit the scheme because apparently they play a lot worse in sim if they dont fit. But after that, I dont know which stats are good and bad in sims, or if the more balanced the better. Any recommendation's?

You just want guys that fit your scheme or guys that you can upgrade to fit your scheme. It is the same in quick Sims but there is a big difference between quick sim and slow sim but slow sim takes way too much time.

I need help fellas.. can you give me two teams to rebuild with these playbooks and schemes?

Given up the most points. Get nearly no sacks or INTs. After 2 seasons of slow son my team lead in 2 years is 6 sacks.

@@thecolecrusher-_-2745 for offense I run a multiple zone run scheme with the Buffalo playbook. I have a QB that’s pretty similar to Josh Allen. Runs very well. And has a cannon for an arm with 97 power. Figured this would work well for my team. I have a stud RB and WR. Backups are okish. I was Lacking a TE until the draft I just did. I drafted a generational player. 84ovr XF as a rookie. 90 speed. I’m debating if I find a new playbook that will also utilize him more as well. Not so sure I get a lot of production out of my TEs otherwise. And I want to get this guy going. Debating the ravens playbook. Still gives me a running QB system like I have. A good run scheme. They throw to the TE a lot. But hoping it doesn’t shut down my top WR.

In an offline franchise i did recently we won 2 super bowls then our OC and DC both got head coaching gigs. I had to hire 2 complete non-fits to our head coaches scheme, but their talent trees were identical. We won the next 2 super bowls. All simmed in a mix of fast and slow on all pro. I think the talent trees matter way more for the coordinators.

49ers and Dolphins got a lot of fun misdirection and screen plays big plays as well

I hate that I have to spend so much time and effort to match my play style to fit my players. At this point I wish they would just put the old school player sliders back it the game run vs pass, scramble vs pocket, power vs speed, speed vs possession etc.. I do cpu vs cpu franchise I like to build my team and then watch it unfold like a coach but this A.I is broken 95 overall powerback getting 5-10 carries also getting tosses. 90 speed scrambling QB not scrambling cuz my scheme says he has to be a field general. But then if I change the scheme to a scrambling QB scheme now all my other positions are fucked. Can't have a scrambling QB scheme with a Deep Threat Wide receiver etc. The logic is just dumb

yea i found that too like on old gen it just doesn’t work i do bengals offense i get good wr play but not really good rb play like yes 80 yards per game is good but there’s halfbacks get 110 yards per game @tips4gamers can you test out old gen sim next madden or pls this madden im having trouble

Y’all should try giving every divisions weakest team a huge boost. The worst teams in my league I took over as the Owner and either rebuilt the Team and Stadium, straight up moved them and built the team up. So it’s every position gets a 99 overall player and one all 99 at any position I choose. I also give them starter level depth in most positions if not all aside from K/P. QB 2RBs TE Full OL/DL LB Safeties/CBs Plus high 80s backups I auto reorder the depth chart and make sure I give each player a 7yr contract (salary cap off) I choose a scheme either before or after (usually after) then I Retire/Choose New Team. Repeat. I ain’t never seen better games on Madden IN MY LIFE. Playoffs GO CRAZY😂 I’m the Oilers with Anthony Richardson at QB 99 overall oh my!! It take time obviously going player to player but it’s worth it I promise you.
