I’m sorry to hear about the car! Living in Minnesota I’ve hit many a deer don’t feel too bad ! I’ve learned that with deer it’s just best to slow down or stop completely, but they sometimes show up out of nowhere so you can’t always help that, so I totally get where you’re coming from. I’ve even hit a cow in my sleep deprived brain if that makes you feel any better 😂

Oh wow, a suicidal deer totaled your car. So sorry about that. Glad you are all settled in now but my goodness finances are so stressful. I hope you can now relax. Your room looks nice, I love how you have displayed your collection. I love the sign on the top shelf. When you mentioned cutting back on your collecting, I can relate to that. I love Rainbow High dolls the way you love Ariel. I have decided to only collect those and only ones priced under $30 because I am not paying any more than that for basically the same doll, I don't care what they call her or what accessories she has. Glad you made it out OK after the accident...at my old house in Ohio we had a deer family that lived in our back yard. It would always freak me out to see how close they would get to the cars so I barely let the kiddos play freely in the yard. Where did you get that awesome Ariel and Her Sisters poster? Very cute!

Congrats on the move! You'll find that $25 Margot Barbie does not come with a stand, but considering how cheap and crappy the stands are, it just feels like a slap in the face to pay $25 to get one. I will say that the Disco Margot Barbie didn't feel quite as bad to pay $50 for, because the sequins are very nice, but yeah. I got Sequin Margot Barbie and playline Margot Barbie, and I do not recommend opening them together. I was sitting there thinking "WTF did I pay $50 for?" Oh - and $50 Margot Barbie Sequins has those horrendous collapsing heels. Will I still buy the Kate McKinnon Barbie when she comes out? Of course. But I'm definitely not paying $50 for any more Margot Barbies.

I'm so sick of Mattel, the quality is so bad at the moment. I really wish that people would stop buying these dolls just to teach them a lesson but these dolls just keep selling out. Its a shame, their collector quality is the same if not worse then play line yet the price is £100 plus. Its not ok.

Welcome back and congrats on the move! I was looking forward to the Barbie Movie dolls but THE PRICE....like, wtf?! Thing is, they are even more expensive here in Germany. Except for the Gingham Dress Barbie, all dolls are €75, which is around $82 🤡🤡🤡 (The Gingahm Barbie is €50 (~$55) btw). Thanks but NO THANKS

I normally like deer but that deer was an asshole. I’m so sorry that happened to you. I know Alice isn’t worth it, I know it but I was so afraid she’d be sold out I bought the stupid priced one (it’s literally my favorite part of the movie and classic Alice dolls are only available in the parks so I’ve wanted an Alice forever-those are my only excuses 😅). Love all the dolls you got. Hope everything with your car works out, that both your jobs are amazing and you’re meeting lots of cute boys. Yes seriously about the live action Ariel in the pink dress and mermaid tail!

50 USD for the movie dolls? HA, thats cheap! 74 bucks in Europe, regular price on amazon etc.. This is not tax and shipping fees or whatever cause all the dolls come from China to begin with, also for Americans... on that note, it should be same price point for everyone. I might be wrong but could it be pure GREED that is behind their ’calculations’? I mean, not only their greed for money but also them expecting us to pay ANY ridiculous price because of our own greed for more dolls... This time, Mattel might have stretched it too far.

You’re going to be disappointed when you open her and don’t find a stand in that $25 box, and I’m sorry but they are worth the $50 price point, should they come with a little bit more for that price yeah, but then they would not be $50, it’s literally no different than $50-$54 on some of the new play sets and still cheaper than the $130 Barbie extra 5 pack and other playline items from companies like mga who not only raised their prices but they also cheapened the quality of their products and removed the second outfits, not to mention they are throwing the same 6-7 accessories in every doll they are bringing out more of the quality we are used to from years ago, is it the same quality and fabrics no, but it’s still an attempt at what can be standard but people are always complaining about what we used to have and why something isn’t worth the price when clearly there is a whole team of people who come together and decide what the price point is and what materials are used

Mass production has to be the most wasteful use of materials in the doll world so they tend to use already released materials and molds for a quick launch should they have made new ones fro this movie yes, but that would have cost more in the end than it would to take existing molds to market even the changes to the packaging can cost millions I think we have if you look at the human world during the pandemic you will find that gap literally took the excess waste from their fabrics and turned them into masks and sold them, They finally have a dream team at Mattel and I believe we should give them a fair chance especially with this movie, they finally found a way to make an outfit fit the original body as well as all the other bodies we have for barbie something that hasn’t been executed well in playline since 2016

Who knows how this next chapter of Mattel looks like we also have g3 monster high which appears to be doing well I have the entire skullitmate series 1 dolls and they’re perfect the second wave not so much I think Mattel is finally letting certain creativity flow out and with the new changes in lines they have a fair chance at reaching that #1 spot again. I finally spent the money on a membership again because of these changes
